Description
Mobile Fire Base (Class 5 HV, unlock level 20)

Primary roles: POI combat, Mobile Base, salvaging, light mining, storage, coop.

Update 3/21/19 - Removed Mining turrets as it was causing spawning issues and they did not work well.

Update 3/12/19 - Fixed missing 1st person cockpit cockpit that want missing after another patch. Updated screen shot to alpha 9 title graphics.

Update 1/16/19 - Updated secure cockpit to work with alpha 9+ changes. I had to lesson the protections a bit around the area to have space for the player to exit the cockpit. It is still in a safe spot and well protected however.


The Gigantes-MFB is full featured heavy tank/base. It comes with all quality of life features for a HV with the exception of mining drills, but does have 2 mining turrets. It is designed to use little fuel when not moving and function as a single or coop HV base. It also has 2 floors. The bottom more protected area has most all of the important items where upstairs just has a cockpit, passenger seats and an extra area for adding whatever you want. It is also designed to easily fit in a 13x7 hangar door for any base or CV with enough room to support it.

Offense\Defense

The hull is built of combat armor and thick in places also including some lag shot blocks. It has both a 1st cockpit on the front as well as a secure interior cockpit for 3rd person view only. It has the maximum allowed weapons/turrets in standard game rules. It also features part seperation and extra heavy frontal defense. Also all 3 doors have a blast wall behind them to help prevent taking internal damage if the door is destroyed.

Mobile Base

The interior contains plenty of survival needs including 2 large storage arrays, clone chamber, med station, fridges, o2, constructors, harvest and ammo arrays, and armor lockers. It has sensor based door, lights, and ramp + switches for exterior lights and to power down all RCS and thrusters to save on fuel when parked. It also includes 2 multi-turrets (Back) and 2 mining turrets (1 on each side). It also has 3 open areas that you can customize for more storage or anything else. Two are located near the rear door, the other on the second floor in the back.

It has 4 switches on the lower floor. 1. "Mobile base mode" gives you the option to turn off all thursters/RCS's and covers the thrusters. Recommended if parked to save power. 2. "Basic defense mode", this only keeps 6 minigun turrets active for 360 degree basic protection and powers down all of the heavier weapons. This will also save some power when parked. "Crafting mode", this turns on 4 constructors as well as mining and drill turrets. Again it will save power keeping this off when not using these items. It also has a switch for exterior lights.

2. 6 Gattling guns, 6 miniguns turrets, 4 rocket turrets, 1 artillery turret, 4 plasma turrets, 2 multi and mining turrets

4. Full featured mobile base/crafting/utiltity (Alpha 9 storage)
5. Storage 1 Volume 10500, Storage 2 Volume 15125
6. Harvester volume 2500, ammo volume 3750
7. 4 Constructors, 4 Fridges, 2 Armor Lockers, clone chamber, med bay
8. O2 and O2 station
9. Automatic doors, lights, and ramp
10. Detector/Wi-fi
11. 4 Passanger Seats, thruster covers (in non mobile mode)
12. Base mode, crafting mode, exterior lights, and optional basic defense mode.
13. Switchable drone hatch (2nd floor)
14. Lighting tuned to night time.

Quick update. I noticed I was missing 4 rear thrusters in the top bays. It has been updated as well as the spec screen shot.

why the hell did you fill the walls wiht spikes?! thos blocks have 90 HP less than the full block

Thanks Nexus! You will notice that anything decent sized back in the day before there was a new fly model and CPU (Alpha 9-10 range) it was required to have RCS to turn at all. A larger creation required a ton of them. This was the only way to do it. After newer versions of the game they added fly model and CPU. This one as well as some larger old SV's all have a ton of RCS. So much has changed now, but this is a pretty old creation built in a different time. Nothing like needing add 284 RCS to get it to move alright. lol. I don't miss it. And thanks again!

with 284 RCS... this feels more like a troll build than anything.. i do enjoy your other builds but this one has me gritting my teeth trying to find all the scattered RCS to make this thing functional. all of them are taking up 85k cpu. even after adding T4 cpu its still more than double its capacity.. i understand its an older version (now) but no builds should ever need 284 RCS... definitely feels intentional

They are all completely redesigned and meet the modern realities of the game. Completely redesigned inside and partially outside ( but the appearance is immediately guessed). CPUs in all ships are made. Removed unnecessary elements like rocket thrust controls and some other elements. Put shields, (where possible). Everything is in accordance with the latest version of the game. It's not just external changes.

Hi. Yes, all the work to improve the ships (mostly old models, where there is no compatibility with the CPU) is carried out on the current version of the game. And of course, the work that I do, I want you to post on your page, the site on which I make a redesign of the design. Thanks. And so it is with all ships. I try to make them as detailed as possible, so it can take a long time. Thank you for your ships, you set the trend for how ships should look in General in the game.

Thanks DaelaamCrafter. This creation was made in Alpha 9 I believe, before CPU. The problem being is this is just too big to be CPU compliant and still move decently. So, basically it is out of date and if you CPU in game, really will not work anymore. Without gutting this badly, I just can do anything with it. :( Thanks again!
