The Otherworld (Violetite)

This seemingly impossible land is known as an Otherworld, one of the six Otherworlds known to the Robot Empire. These bizarre chunks of rock fly through space in a constant hyperspace speed. They are known for their mysterious and powerful crystals, this one being Violetite. One of the more known and valuable crystals, Violetite (once refined) is a powerful fuel and energy source, used to power some of the Empire's greatest weapons and crusiers. To reach this land, however, is difficult. A ship's crew must be able to manually control their hyperdrive just right to reach The Otherworlds, as some are slower or faster than normal hyperdrive speeds. Thanks to the powerful computing power of robots, the Empire has almost a monopoly on these crystals, knowing exactly how to find, obtain, and refine them right on their ships. Crusiers can simply slow down to this Otherworld's speed, harvest some crystals, refine them, refuel, and exit the Otherworld, making this Otherworld a sort of "refueling station". While some rebels and scavengers have tried to control these Otherworlds, the empire swiftly crushes them, ensuring their control over these mysterious lands.
