Friendly Fire Tweaks

Beskrivning
Changes how friendly fire works, mostly by removing it.
Works for both the player, and the AI, and most mod added weapons and turrets. You can still target friendly things manually. Explosions are still not safe.

Safe to add to or remove from games in progress.



Config options.
  • Shooting skill affects friendly fire chance, or just disable it all together. No more will your ‘Legendary Master’ sniper kill your front line fighters for the 13th time.
  • Customize that amount each shooting level decreases the likelihood of friendly fire. Want to make it so at level 10 your pawns stop shooting each other? You can do that now.
You can decide exactly what can and can’t be accidentally shot as each option can be toggled separately. So if you want to protect just animals, or just the walls of your killbox you can.

Would it be possible to have an option for it to only effect player stuff while AI are unaffected and can still friendly fire each other?

For those of you who don't speak geek, I hope this helps:

C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1582686191
Make a new folder named 1.5
Copy and paste the contents of the folder 1.4 into 1.5
Open the About folder
Open the file About.xml with notepad
Find <li>1.4</li>
Create a new line below 1.4, hit Tab, paste <li>1.5</li>
Save.
....
Profit.

@CMaia Honestly any pawn walking between another pawn "practicing" shooting deserves to be hit lol. Need a safety instructor role now.

pawns can be shot and damaged at with this mod if they are passing by in front of someone using misc. training's shooting target. Maybe that mod use some patch over to not damage the dummy target and it make this mod useless in that particular case

If possible to patch it thank you in advanced, if not be warned that this is a thing

And it works pretty well in 1.5 besides that, just make a folder named 1.5 and copy all things inside 1.4

1.5 Just friendly fired off a colonists leg can confirm doesn't work atm.
