Low Altitude Assault Transport - LAAT [Purrfect] Star Wars - The Clone Wars

Description
Scale model of the Low Altitude Assault Transport /Infantry Edition
Otherwise known as the Republic Attack Gunship.

Compare it with my original release here!

I have begun to look back at some of my older builds and see what is still being used and misused... Quickly my eyes were drawn to the many screenshots and videos using the LAAT in some exstend, but usually with missing doors or quick mock-ups to fix the age old piston bugs.

NO MORE!

I bring you all a re-newed model of the old favorite, updated to work in current multiplayer conditions. Meaning that the Doors and Turrets are Static and attached to the main grid. Don't worry, I still plan on adding the play features in the "Heroic Collectors Edition" version of the ship, but that needs more RnD.

Works entirely on Batteries and O2 Generators, so Flight time may vary in survival.

Have fun with the Gunship you all! I hope you like it, and look forward to seeing it pop up again in your own content.

This ship is part of the new line of "Clone Wars" ships, so expect a lot more like it from the same Era, like:
The BTL-B Y-Wing

-Wiki Text here to make is better searchable-
The Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry (LAAT/i), also known as the Low Altitude Assault Transport, Republic attack gunship or Assault Gunship, was a variant of the Low Altitude Assault Transport that served mainly as a gunship for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Its role was to transport troopers as well as offering air-to-ground and air-to-air support for the Republic against the Separatists. The LAAT/i gunship saw extensive use in numerous battles and campaigns of the Clone Wars. During the Imperial Era, LAAT/is were used by both the Galactic Empire and Alliance to Restore the Republic.

I want you to refrain from that, no need. I see no point in copying them for that platform yet. And If I would, I would let that go through myself or a friend of mine who has the console ;)

I cannot stress enough of how much of a beast this thing is. Only real weakness I have found is missiles, other than that, can tank just about anything and keep pushing. Threw it down a kilometer high cliff several times over and each and every time it just got back up again and kept chugging along. Purrfect-Blinky is a god amongst men for this creation.
