Kimberley outcrop, Gale crater, Mars

Description
Fancy a little trip to Mars? We have you covered with this photogrammetric reconstruction of the Kimberley outcrop in Gale crater.
Visited and studied by Mars Science Laboratory rover Curiosity in 2014, this outcrop has been reconstructed using orbital and ground-based photos to observe the sedimentological features indicating that a river once flowed here.

This outcrop has been reconstructed by planetary geologists G. Caravaca and S. Le Mouélic of LPG Nantes (UMR CNRS 6112) as part of the european project PlanMap.
