C&C Tiberian Sun: OCV 3A Kodiak [Survival, No Mods]

Description
Been working on this project for some time now and finally have a version I think is acceptable for release.

This is a scale replica of the Orca Command Vehicle 3A Kodiak from Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun.

An iconic part of the Global Defense Initiative's (GDI) arsenal, Orca Command Vehicles (OCV) were used as transatmospheric command ships able to rapidly deploy to any combat zone on the globe. Although not outfitted for combat, the Kodiak was used as a mobile command center for ground forces; able to insert an attack force deep in enemy territory.

This ship is Survival ready and fully Vanilla. It features:
- A fully detailed exterior and interior
- Two large Hangar/Storage Bays
- Refining and Assembling
- Jump drives for fast orbital repositioning (333Km range)
- Landing gear suitable for planetary surfaces
- Transatmospheric flight on all planets
- Multiple command areas including armored CIC
- Survival features such as airtightnesss and large supply and production of hydrogen
- Two point defense turrets

Tips:
- This ship is very large and very heavy, be cautious when manuvering close to a planetary surface
- Hydrogen thrusters are needed in atmosphere, but can be switched off for fuel economy in orbit
- For exiting the atmosphere, a 45 Degree exit profile is advised (Tilt the nose up and use forward and up thrusters simultaneously)

Notes:
- Although complete, I am still working on the design and may change things around, especially inside. As such, suggestions are appreciated! This is the largest ship I've built and so its bound to have some room for improvement.
- Probably could use some artistic redesign with regard to some of the color schemes inside of the ship. Still thinking on that.

Oh, and I guess the only really design drawback that comes to mind is that it predates all the visual packs and doesn't have any of the DLC blocks. Was thinking about refreshing it with textures and the new furniture, but hadn't gotten into SE in a while.

Hello! Its been a few months since I've opened SE but I don't recall having any major issues loading in old blueprints. It's got a handful of point defense turrets as I didn't plan on it being an offensive ship (and the original didn't have any offensive capabilities I can recall), but it does have several conveyors running bow to stern IIRC. Its definitely a heavy ship, but the power and hydrogen supply was pretty overbuilt if you need to add more thrust to give it greater lifting capacity to orbit. I'd be impressed to see it built fully in survival!

how outdated is this. i am thinking of using this as my main craft for a new Nexus server cluster for SE that is gonna open up on the 2nd and i would like to give credit to the author of it. also i dont see any weapon hardpoints on the exterior, how hard would it be to find some conveyors under the armor since its a survival system. Again Awesome work dude

I love the C&C games. Been replaying them and satisfying my nostalgia by building ships in SE. Just finished building the Kodiak from C&C4

but this is an incredible build, and it makes me miss C&C

Testing this in creative I have spawned the ship in from the blueprint and it is fully controllable as soon as I put it down. Check to see if the thrusters are working. Doing some acceleration tests in space it accelerates to 5m/s within 2 seconds. I'll reupload the blueprint with some changes I have made.

i spawned it in creativel, in empty space, it did move when i bumped it and i made sure to sit in the only seat that controls it, if that's any help

I don't know anything about this. It's pretty responsive to me. Did you spawn it as a static grid? Also creative or survival would be good info. I may need to test it on a fresh world
