Description

It has been said that there are no aliens in this universe, only humans - but those people are wrong, no matter how involved they are in universe creation. This mod adds four species of aliens - Sergals, Gnolls, Lions, and Frogs - to the game, each with their own factions, ways of living, and personalities.

Backstory

First came the lions, with their fancy technology and fancy ideals. Then came the sergals, whose people trafficking skills lead to the proliferation of the frog and gnoll species, two mostly tribal creatures that deal in drugs and organs, respectively.

Sergals are quick, agile, and fragile.
Lions are physically tough but egotistically motivated; they have too much pride to wear non lion apparel. (They will wear Orassan armour, EVA suits from SoS2, and royalty based apparel. I also coded in support for a jewelry mod, but I forget which one. If you would like extra clothing added, please comment below. I won't be doing vanilla clothes, but you can get the HAR unrestrictor mod to disable this feature about lions.)
Frogs are excellent at crafting things, usually chems, but rarely can they fight well.
Gnolls are good warriors and rowdy colonists. They like organ trading almost as much as they like social fights.

NOTE: updates may come slowly.

TO DO
Create a music box
Make lions... royal [DONE]
Integrate races into vanilla factions [IN PROGRESS]

BUGS:
Many. Here are just some of them.
- Lions too strong
- Children make hats enormous
- Babies get the ability to work before becoming children

MEMORIAL:

The lost gnolls of both The Other Mod and the ones we lost trying to alter ours so both mods could live together in peace. Honor a gnoll at a gnoll crematorium every day.

OTHER:

Instead of buying me a kofi, how about you swing by my youtube and give my crappy music a listen?

I've pushed an update. As I am unable to replicate the issue, I don't know if this will fix it, so I'll need you guys to let me know.

I'll look into that shortly.

I'm just noticing the same issue Riddick had. It hasn't been with every trading party, but one specific war trader merchant party of gnolls (a big one of like 25+ dirty yeens) is keen to clear out my entire stock of fine meals with every visit. I've been getting wround it by dismissing that group as soon as I've looked over their supply. They don't steal all my food when they leave that way.

I've seen some people get so snippy about the existence of HAR mods. Really disappointing to see. Just makes me want to double down on my design choices really.

It seems like Biotech has essentially erased all of the HAR mods. I prefer HAR mods like this one because I don't like the idea of all of my pawns being the same species but with different cosmetics. I like that they're fully separate species that can't, theoretically, interbreed.

I don't suppose you're using the hospitality mod are you?

are the Gnoll trader caravans meant to be able to decided to eat ALL my food and then leave? i just watched a caravan of 50 Gnolls decide it was time to go but not before literally swarming my food store and taking EVERYTHING

I haven't added compatibility for it as I don't use it and thus am not familiar, but they might have done so on their own.

Is this CE compatible?

Sergals can wear the same stuff as normal pawns. Cargo pants, suit pants, and tucked in button down shirts are lion exclusive. It works that way because I wanted to disable hats for lions (they don't mix well with the manes) and I needed a reason lore wise to do that, so I went with the idea that lions are fancy and only want to wear fancy clothes, like lion apparel or royal apparel.
