Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter

Description
The infamous Mitsubishi A6M Zero Fighter created by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, primarily used as the Imperial Japanese Navy's carrier unit, is well known for its incredible mobility, climbing speed, lengthy operation distance and duration, combined with a fairly powerful machine cannon, marks its impressive performance and dominates the sky during the early days of WWII, easily defeating most fighters among other nations.

The impressive performance however comes with severe costs - as a result of not having powerful enough engines introduced during its lifetime (even after the Japanese surrendered), to compensate the issue and increase performance over higher altitudes the Zero had little protection for the pilots, most notably the lack of a fire extinguish system. The utilization of magnesium alloys and a weak body frame caused the Zero to be incredibly fragile and easily catches fire upon being fired on. This general fragility of the Zero family hadn't been changed over the course of its service life until the introduction of the A6M5b which introduces a fire extiguishing system and better defense, preventing it from exploding immediately when hit by a strafe.

Unfortunately for the Zero, as a combined result of the gradual loss of elite pilots among the IJN side without sufficiently skilled replacements, and stronger, faster but still well-armored US planes such as the F6F Hellcat piloted by skilled pilots, whose performance outshines the Zero completely even after several modifications to the design, doomed the IJN's air force, and hence the whole war for the Japanese.

This blueprint is a copy based on the said fighter and uses several modded parts from helicopter propellers and plane parts. Although unnecessary, you are advised to use the aerodynamics mod as well.

The fighter can take off once it reaches 20-30 m/s which is fairly easy to achieve, even on bumpy lands or very constricted runways. Flying is simple as it almost never stalls and even if it does, it can regain flight quickly.

The fighter is capable of retracting its landing wheels by pressing the 4th button (timer block) of which the landing gear doors will open/close and the motors will extend/retract the wheels respectively. Do however note that due to how light the fighter is, be aware of clang and the plane will slightly jerk a bit during said motion.

Survival ready and flight capable.

@Eddy I like the design. Unfortunately this Zero isn't meant for some serious battle but just as a test bed for designs and for giggles, so you will have to wait proably.
