About 100 km (62 miles) off the coast of Belize lies the Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll glowing in vibrant hues of turquoise, teal, peacock blue, and aquamarine. Within this small sea of light colors, however, lies a giant circle of deep blue. Roughly 300 meters (1,000 feet) across and 125 meters (400 feet) deep, the feature is known as the Great Blue Hole. This site was made famous by Jacques Cousteau, who declared it one of the top five scuba diving sites in the world. Even though the Great Blue Hole is considered a bucket-list dive, one should be aware that it is not for divers of all skill levels - a prerequisite is logging more than 24 dives. It is also not a 'colourful dive', instead, divers witness a dark cave with impressive stalactites.

Great Blue Hole

One tile natural wonder. It appears as a Reef and provides +3 Food, +2 Production, and +2 Gold. Fishing Boats within 4 tiles receive +1 Culture regardless of ownership.

Please note that although "It appears as a Reef", this mod does NOT require Rise and Fall.

I have been having an issue with this wonder. Whatever I try to do it won't spawn. I've played roughly 20 games with this installed and it just never spawns. I then downloaded a mod that will try to force a natural wonder to spawn and still haven't managed to find it. I then loaded the map editor to see if i can place it and it doesn't allow me to place it. I've also noticed your other natural wonders, when generated on in the map editor, you save the map then exit and load it your natural wonders just cease to exist and will not be there and can not be placed back. I've encountered all other of your wonders and would love to be able to play with this wonder too.

The natural wonders you've created (which are amazing, by the way!) are not triggering the Secret Society discoveries currently. I've had to disable all of them for now. I look forward to being able to use them again!

Dear Civ6 mod author, I'm a Chinese Civ6 player, who had subscribed a lot of mods of yours for almost half a year. To be honest, your mods' quality and gameplay are really high, by which I was enjoyed. But the only drawback is the text in your mods is English, which made me feel difficult to recommend these mods to my Chinese friends. In a result, I have tried translating the content about one of your mods named "Great Blue Hole". If you're interested about it, I'll send you the localisation file, which is made by myself.

I'm not sure if the great blue hole is working right. I'm playing with only the base game dlc's, a wonders mod and some leaders/civ mods but I don't think the bonus to fishing boats work properly.

Are you not considering to make a natural wonder pack? I love your mods but downloading each mod for each nat. wonder is ...meh. I am highly looking forward your nat. wonder pack.

Anyone knows why the Historic-Moment for this one in particular remains "blank"?
Every other NW (Grand Canyon + Ngorongoro Crater + Tonle Sap) from Suk *do* show up correctly.

Is it working with June Patch ?

@astudslyfe - In order for me to see it more regularly I had to delete the not adjacent to Ocean tiles restriction, which severely limited where it could spawn.
