All Things Rhino
By ThePHiLsTeR [¬º-°]¬
Rhino is a warframe capable of tanking, crowd control, buffing, and nuking. He can play many roles and is welcome on several team compositions. This guide contains builds and explanations.

Tank
To gain insane amounts of armor, cast Rhino's first ability, Charge, at as many enemies as possible. The more the better. Then cast the second ability, Iron Skin. This will increase the armor gain from Iron Skin.

After casting Charge at six enemies, I gained a total of 42,451.27 Ferrite Armor from Iron Skin. After the armor runs out, repeat the process.

If you would like better energy efficiency, replace Intensify with Streamline.
Crowd Control
Rhino's fourth ability, Stomp, costs 25 energy and freezes all enemies for 12.56 seconds in a 62.5 meter radius. If you want more range, you can swap Augur Message for Augur Reach for a 70 meter Stomp that lasts 10.64 seconds. Alternatively Augur Message can be swapped with a survivability mod such as Vitality or Redirection.
Buff Bere/Hydron/ESO
Rhino's third ability, Roar, increases damage for yourself and teammates by 153%. It will last 59.85s and its range is a small 8.5 meters. The mod, Energy Conversion, gives additional +50 power strength on the next ability cast after an orb pickup. After an orb pickup, a symbol will display at the top right corner. This means on your next roar cast, the ability will have an extra +50 power strength with a total damage buff of +177%.

Your job is to buff the DPS warframe on the team. Because Roar's range is only 8.5 meters, it is possible to miss your target. Roar cannot be recasted until the timer runs out. To recast, fall through the map. Bere's position is here:
Dps Bere/Hydron
Rhino isn't the best for Bere or Hydron but still viable. What stops Rhino from being top tier is his hefty energy cost for Stomp and low energy pool of 425. Each stomp will cost 95 energy, so there should be delays between casts to slow down energy drain and give the Trinity time to cast EV on enemies.
Eidolon Captures
Rhino Roar costs 19 energy, gives a damage buff of +106.4%, lasts 23.25 seconds, and buffs you and your teammates within 36.25 meters. Augur Secrets can be swapped for Constitution if you prefer more duration. If you have a V polarity on the aura slot, then dead eye or rifle amp should be equipped depending on the weapon type you are using.

After the Eidolon's shields are down and it's time to destroy limbs, cast roar and shoot. Note that Chroma is mainly asked for in recruit channel over Rhino.
AOE Nuke
Rhino's fourth ability, Stomp, costs 25 energy and will damage all enemies within 43.75 meters. The damage isn't great, but can efficiently handle enemies below level 20. It will be good for missions such as lith fissure defense.
Speed Runs
This first build only works in conjunction with the Rhino Vanguard Arcane helmet.

The helmet gives an additive +25% movement speed. Because it is discontinued, it is very expensive costing over 500 platinum.

This build is designed to speed run through regular planet missions. It has equipped all the +movement speed mods. Casting Rhino's second ability, Iron Skin, gives enough survivability to easily clear all regular planet missions. The +slide mods are highly optional and can be replaced with any mods of your choice such as Thief's Wit (+loot radar), Enemy Sense, Power strength mods (for stronger Iron Skin) etc etc. The elemental mods (Firewalker, Ice Spring, Lightning Dash, and Toxic Flight) give +24.2% bullet jump and aim glide. Mobilize gives +20% bullet jump and aim glide but is a lot less costly in capacity. Therefor, the elemental mods can be replaced with mobilize.

This second build does not depend on having the Rhino Vanguard Arcane helmet. Rhino's first ability, Charge, costs 6 energy and propels you forward a total of 31.8 meters at 48 meters per second. This build, however, is difficult to use because Charge cannot be stopped and its direction cannot be changed mid-cast. Cast Iron Skin for added survivability.

No worries! I'll hang a screenshot on my profile. Feel free to use it in your guide. Peace out, Space Ninja!

Yea, you're right!! This is an old guide written before even umbral mods were released and im too lazy to update it lol.

You missed the best Rhino build in the game: Immortal Rhino, which uses Aracane Gaurdian, all 3 Umbra mods and Reinforcing stomp. It's the most balanced of the Rhinos, between speed and power and can be used virtually anywhere. You also didn't mention that Charge-Skin Rhino (which is what it's typically called) is very, very, VERY situational and not consistent at all due to the weird hitboxes in this game coupled with broad enemy spacing in larger maps/tiles. Sad.

:( That sucks
Okami Amaterasu Jul 3, 2018 @ 1:49pm
Yup, pub. They're all over and ruin many index games.

I've seen a good rhino but that was premade group. I don't run index often. Was it pub?
Okami Amaterasu Jul 3, 2018 @ 12:30pm
Now if only Rhino's in the index would stop taking all the points and never scoring.

No it doesn't mean skill. I know players who just blow by content in this game and others who take long time. All it means is you have good amount of warframes and weapons to use in team compositions. Since I host events with platinum prizes, itll be good for players who have different combos of warframes at their disposal. Clanmates in the events were looking for other members to team up with to try to win and they were looking for people who have different warframes available to make up specific teams. If everyone only have 1 or 2 warframes then the combos suffer. Players who had low amount of warframes and weapons were left behind unfortunately which I cannot control.

Also if a player is skilled getting to MR14 isnt a problem at all. Also FYI theres only miminum slot left in clan so I made it higher temporarily. MR req used to be 10.

Just a question, why the mastery rank requirement? I mean, Mastery doesn't equal skill.
