19/10/2023 Balance adjustments to some Chivalry bar effects (removed the scaling knight upkeep) and Vows

Blessed Bretonnia is made with the intent to buff Bretonnia's overall campaign ability. Stronger bonuses to lords and heroes, More powerful Chivalry effects, minor cosmetic alterations as well as small changes to things like research technologies and generals vows.


Chivalry bonuses

• Additional effects have been added to the factions Chivalry mechanic. Combat buffs for knights are gained and grow in strength as the faction follows it chivalrous knightly code.
  
  Bretonnia also gains a Powerful Economic buff that gets stronger the more Chivalry is accrued.
  
  
  Unit Changes
  
  
• The ROR Knights of the Realm unit now have the blessing of the lady passive ability just like the other holy units in the roster.
  
• Grail Relique's Aura buffed to now also affects Peasant bowman's ranged damage capability as well as adding +5 melee attack and defence. Additionally the Relique now loses this ability when it is routing.
  
• Pegasus Knights recruited from rank 3 stables.
  
  
  Cosmetic alterations
  
  
• Men at arms with spears no longer wield some sort or weird fork thing.
  
• Foot Squires and Questing Knights now all have full helmets (with an updated unit card to match)
  
  
  Lords & Heroes
  
  
• 1 Extra green knight charge for the final 3 Chivalry tiers.
  
• BUFFED VOWS - Paladins, Lords and Prophetess Generals have all had their vow rewards improved, small combat buffs as well as some campaign improvements. most noticeable is the ability for Paladins & Prophetess to unlock the blessing of the lady/Aura of the Lady ability's upon completing the Questing Vow. Prophetess also unlock a powerful spell after completing the final Vow.
  
  
  Additional campaign changes
  
  
• Decrees against other hostile factions now cost gold instead of time
  
• Charity technology Given an added +5% replenishment for peasants factionwide
  
• slightly stronger Execute Captives effect (an additional small bonus to campaign movement range)
  
  
  
  
  Possible future changes for WH3 and other thoughts
  
• VOW QUESTS while a neat concept are kind of also a problem. The mandatory upkeep reductions gated behind quests that can sometimes take many turns to finish. Not being able to immediatly raise a strong army with elite units without suffering extreme upkeep costs can seriously hinder Bretonnia's ability to wage war and defend itself at times.
  
  Unfortunately changing the quests themselves to something easier or more reliable is difficult and would require a lot of scripting, so instead the next best thing might be to just buff the quest reward up to be stronger to make it feel more worthwhile.
  
  
• Peasant melee infantry is very weak to the point of almost being entirely useless and skipable when composing an army. I think simply buffing each infantry units combat stats directly would be wrong so i opted to buff the Grail relique instead. The relique is a very underused unit and by buffing it i hope to improve both Bretonnia's infantry ability in a more fun and thematic way.
  
• Make Damsels more badass somehow - They look lame and have no combat ability what-so-ever other than to cast spells.
  
  
• Less spelling errors in mod descriptions.
