Shrike interceptor drone (type 1b)

The Shrike series is ViridiaTech's solution for a rapid-response combat drone aircraft, suitable for high-danger combat zones where risk of injury to personnel is unacceptable.

The type-1b model includes a set of spotlights and landing lights, to improve night-time performance. Packing quad 25mm gatling guns with a range of at least 900 meters, it is capable of unleashing heavy firepower and tearing through hostile targets in seconds. Cheap and disposable if necessary, it consumes only ammunition and electrical power.

The Shrike is fitted with programs to enhance its functionality and safety. It has forward and down-facing cameras for flight and docking alignment, groups so that the operator can exit the camera view without losing flight control (toggle cameras off, then back on). The camera tells you how to line up for docking. When ready, press 9 to dock or un-dock. While docked, the drone automatically shuts down all primary systems to conserve power, and will restore itself to normal the instant it undocks.

Safe for use with TIM or TIM revised -- this drone will tell those scripts to ignore the gatling guns, so they will re-load automatically in any situation. TIM is not required.

Inspired by Splitsie's "Chicken Hawk" combat drone (from his YouTube series "Survival, Maybe..."), with a number of significant upgrades. The Shrike has better thrust, twice the firepower, intelligent scripts & a timer to automate docking & recharging as much as possible, and is all-around better.
