Roadside Motel (RICO)

Description
Are you a wanted criminal? An FBI agent chasing ghosts and aliens in some backwater town? Are you perhaps on the run from the mob or in a witness relocation program? Well then, you need a motel.

There's this one and...
Roadside Motel Wing available here.
Both assets have identical textures, same files exactly. With the loading screen mod you'll save a little bit of RAM if you do decide to download both.

Asset Stats
Main Model: 1612 tris
LoD mode: 82 tris.

Textures: 1024 and 128 - All maps accounted for, including some colour variations - They're about what you'd expect for a small motel like this. Off-white, banal beige, somewhat grey and kinda useless green.

No DLCs or asset dependencies required. RICO isn't required either - if you do not use it, the asset will show up as a level 1 unique building costing 5000, with watered down stats from the Statue of Shopping. Kind of appropriate for a motel. A few tourists, more sewage, etc.

Props and decoration: Just lights and an entry point. This one's for the detailers. This has an 8x3 footprint.

About
I was scratching around trying to do something modular and this came to mind. Originally built with 2k textures... I really fought with it trying to decide whether to release this as a 2k asset. But 1K looks pretty good and takes up one third of the space that a 2K asset would. Unless you're playing in 4k - and really looking - you probably won't notice the downscaling so much.

If you want this and the other one in 2k, get it here[drive.google.com]. The .crp files are the base asset - and the .zip files include the base asset and the RICO definition in a package. You'd unzip that and put that folder in your local assets folder. I don't plan on releasing the 2k files on Steam - but if you want to, feel free. The source files are there too. The textures are shared between this and the other asset, so you'll have to do some renaming of files to import it into the asset editor..

As for the actual building irl - there are a bunch of these around where I am. We get lots of tourists here. The building's also generic on purpose, again, for those who have an imagination. A friend remarked that it was kind of like a seniors residence, but I have no idea if that mod is even a thing anymore.

As usual, let me know if you do not get the functionality I've described out of this asset. I'll fix it.
If you'd like the sign, here it is.

Enjoy!

This is fantastic. You drop this near a freeway, place a truck stop next to it, place some big-rig props around it, and you have a realistic vignette! These details are what make this type of gaming so delightful and fun! Thanks to you and all the other gifted artists who create detailed buildings and props!

@Aquilifer Argentus. It's up there now as a separate download. Thanks for the prodding.

Did I miss the sign? I can't find it searching in "props".
