Description

ACI Sovereign Class Titan, produced by Ares Combat Industries

Assembled in the massive shipyards around the pristine planet of Aressia, the first ship of the Sovereign Class could finally, after several production delays, leave the dry docks. The Sovereign Class is the true pride of the DRO Navy. Coming in at over 400 meters in length and weighing over 21 kilotons make the Sovereign Class the longest ACI ship to date. After some extensive weapons testing including a demonstration to high ranking DRO members the Titan had been officially called into service. The warship has been equipped with a state of the art armor penetrating mass driver, a planetary bombardment system to provide support to ground forces and over 160 turret emplacements. The massive warship serves as one of the DRO Navy's main flagships and has been named 'Protector of Orion'. It leads the main defense fleet consisting of several cruisers, battleships and defense stations over the planet of Aressia.

The Sovereign Class, similar to the Orion Class, features a ventral cargo bay and in addition to that offers the ability to carry a corvette sized vessel in order to increase the ships flexibility. Vessels like the Onset MPEC offer the ability to make planetary landings, since the Titan itself is incapable of flying in an atmospheric environment. In addition to that the Titan is able to bring a compliment of 4 strike craft into battle as well.

Well... This is a large one and it definitely consumed a large amount of my time, but I am without a doubt happy with the end result. I hope you guys feel the same way and be sure to leave a rating. Additionally, I will be happy to answer any questions you have about the ship down below!

Do not conduct any erratic movement while firing the Mass Driver. When using the bombardment feature make sure that you are inside a planetary gravity field.

Thank you, those are very kind words man! Happy to hear that you were so pleased with my designs. I am grateful for your feedback and if I ever do decide to return I will improve upon past short-comings of my designs.

Life has been quite busy for the past 3-4 years on my end, but I am longing for a comeback. In my opinion SE has made quite some strides forward and the DLCs added a plethora of new building options to the game, which I would love to try them out at some point.

I know you're done with SE for the forseeable future but I'd just like to let you know that the welders for the missile turrets on the top are not repairing the turrets. Aside from that, I'd like to thank you for all your contributions to space engineers, no other creator's ships have given me the same excitement with a new release. The simplicity and uniformity of your ships are amazing since they also always have such attention to detail and exciting, useful features. If you ever decide to return, I believe the new dlc's would elevate your work and I am excited imagining what your ships would be like with the new additions to the game. Gl with life and your other endeavors man, it's been great following your creations and testing them these past 5 years (although my testing may have annoyed you a bit like on the Endurance light cruiser lol).

@Q1 No sorry the ship was only made for space and some lunar gravity wells.

@Q2 I am really sorry, but I am not active on Space Engineers any more.
