At first I thought that the second pillar with the two-high platform is useless, since it's from the same height. Oh no, the ceiling height matters. It never did in Portal. That's exciting.

I love that concept. I love how you store gravitational potential in portals to use it somewhere else .

This map was really fun to solve once I understood the objective of the puzzle! This is definitely an advanced mechanic that's hard to figure out, or even come up with a strategy for. But once you understand, the execution is really simple!
Hint: There are 4 columns with portal surfaces, each with varying heights. You'll need to chain together the height of multiple columns to progress toward the exit. The key is that the portal must be on the ceiling of one of the columns to combine its full height with another column. The only problem is you can't enter a portal on the ceiling. Unless you were able to launch yourself at it... :p2cube:

Seemed completely baffling at first, especially because I was trying stupid things with the wall panels, which turned out to be entirely useless... a mean little red herring. ;)

The solution is simple enough if you've played the previous maps in this series, but forcing it several times makes it harder to discern what the overall goal is. An interesting design.

If I hadn't done the previous chambers in this collection, this one might have seemed hard. But having been properly trained, it was pretty easy.
