Unit Descriptions

- Skink Infantry (Javelins): Mist Runners
"The pale gray patches upon their blue scales allow the Mist Runners to blend in with the fog and brackish waters around Xlanhuapec."
Recruitable from landmark "Temple of Mists" in Xlanhuapec; can stalk, spot enemy units & have vanguard deployment.

- Skink Infantry (Spears): Skink Shrouded Cohort
"The Shrouded Cohort was garrisoned in underground caves beneath the mist fields of Xlanhuapec and are equally adept at launching ambush attacks into a foes' flanks as they are at forming up in deep ranks and taking their place in the lizardmen battle line."
Recruitable from landmark "Temple of Mists" in Xlanhuapec & have vanguard deployment.

- Skink Infantry (Spears): Skink Red Shields
"They were a sacred spawning of Sotek, fated to join the infamous Red Host. During their journey they found and slew the most enormous Fangadon, fashioning red shields from its mighty hide."
Recruitable from landmark "Stellar Pyramids" in Hexoatl or medicine resource building 3. They have 2 custom abilities: "shield wall", granting them charge deflect vs large and "shields up", which can be toggled on and off to increase missile parry chance for the cost of melee defence.

- Skink Infantry (Spears): Yellow Crested Cohort (Skinks)
"The skinks and kroxigor of the Yellow-Crested Cohort were from Aureate Monument of the Rising Sun, located in the deep jungles of the Isthmus of Pahuax. They bore a burning hatred towards skaven plague monks for destroying their monument."
Recruitable from landmark "Golden Tower of the Gods" or medicine resource building 3. They have charge deflect vs large, armor piercing damage & 10% ward save.

- Monstrous Infantry: Yellow Crested Cohort (Kroxigors)
Recruitable from landmark "Golden Tower of the Gods" or spices resource building 3. They don't have primal instincts and are aquatic.

- Monstrous Infantry: Shrouded Cohort (Kroxigors)
Recruitable from "Tower of Mists" landmark in Xlanhuapec. They don't have primal instincts, are aquatic and have vanguard deployment.

- Saurus Infantry (Clubs): Cohort of the Copper Sun
"The Cohort of the Copper Sun were marked by crests of orange-tipped scales that shimmered beneath the noonday sun. As battle neared, it would soon be time to see what properties these new warriors would manifest – what gifts the wisdom of the Old Ones had bestowed upon them."
Recruitable from landmark "Golden Tower of the Gods" or obsidian resource building 3. Elite saurus unit with fire & armor destroying attacks. I am not really satisfied with the textures and look of this unit but for now its ok I guess.

- Saurus Infantry (Halberds): Temple Guard of Xlanhuapec
"The spawning of Temple Guard that protected the Temples of Xlanhuapec was an ancient order. The thick scale plating that covered the warriors bodies was faded and criss-crossed with deep scars. The horned skull helms and ornamental halberds they bore were notched and showed evidenced of great wear. The lizardmen did not see these as signs of decay or neglect but rather a revered success. These temple guardians had a long and gloried history of victory."
Recruitable from landmark "Temple of Mists" in Xlanhuapec.

- Chameleon Skink Infantry (Blowpipes): Eyes in the Canopy
"The chameleon skinks known as the Eyes in the Canopy were not followers of Sotek. They appeared out of the undergrowth and led the Red Host of Tehenhauin towards Itza."
Recruitable from landmark "Chameleon Shrine" in Axlotl or animals resource building 3. Can stalk, switch ammo types & have vanguard deployment.

- Ripperdactyl Riders: Wind that Hungers
Recruitable from landmark "Shrine of Birds" in Oyxl or animals resource building 3. Has attribute "fatigue resistance" and a custom ability increasing charge bonus & ap damage.

Any ETA on an update? Your mod crashes on the newest version of SFO now, sadly.

@Ubermorgen Fantastic! Don't get me wrong, the skinkbois needed some love, like I said, but I love rocking an army full of pissed off Saurus Spears and Horned Ones and, and a couple of Carnosaurs/Dread Saurus with the Skinks hiding in some bushes on the flanks. Y'all have done a great job on the modeling and the animations. Looking forward to more! (Btw. No Pity, No Remorse, No Fear. Black Templars forever)

@Einherjars_Honor: Thanks for the feedback! The reason most of the units are skinks is that there aren't many other official RoR units. A rework is already in progress, where we'll be adding some other units as well :)

Kinda a shame it's mostly Skink Infantry, I was hoping for an awesome Horned Ones Riders unit or a really cool Kroxigor unit or something. But the Skinks def needed some love, for sure. They had so little in the game. Nice for fans of the Skinks to have some options. I'm sure I have a use for these lads though. Thanks for the mod!
