Phalanx Tank Destroyer (99% vanilla)

Named after the battle formation used by the Spartans of ancient times, the Phalanx tank destroyer follows all of the same principles of the formation. Featuring strong frontal armour as well as a powerful pokey gun the Phalanx features the same head on attack power of the manoeuvre. But, like the Phalanx battle formation this tank is also weak against attacks to the side and rear. However, do not fear for Quantum Industries has accounted for this. To fix this the vehicle was given quick track traverse allowing fast hull rotation as well as a roof mounted machine gun with a full 360-degree traverse allowing protection from all angles.

Author’s note: This tank has most notably competed in the January tank event alongside the Gunslinger MBT. See last image for image of the competing tank.
