NWA Jim Crockett Promotions 1985-1989

"The Major League of Professional Wrestling"

This is a collection of edits that focus on the Jim Crockett Promotions territory of the NWA. This collection will see such featured attractions as Dusty Rhodes and Magnum TA, and their feud with the Four Horseman, Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant and his feud with Paul Jones Army and tag team action with The Road Warriors, The Rock N Roll Express and the Midnight Express. The Russians will battle with the good guys and the tag circuit will heat up with the Jim Crockett Memorial Tag Tournament every year. An influx of talent will come through the UWF buy-out and Kevin Sullivan will start a club of amateur wrestlers while he wears a wizard robe.

The time period for this collection will stop in early '89. The Ted Turner buyout of Jim Crockett Promotions happened in late '88 but it wasn't until April of 1989 that the TBS Studio Show which aired on Saturday's at 6:05 Eastern switched over from the Techwood Drive Studio in Atlanta to the Center Stage location, and the WCW name became prominent as the name of the promotion along with new tv graphics and intro/outro music. I've decided to use this as the break-off point from this collection to the WCW collection.

My edit approach is that I cover specific time periods and try to make it to where players can re-create their favorite feuds from the era, so with covering a five year span there could be multiple edits of certain wrestlers which could include solo and tag team variations as well as heel or face variations. It's really up to you how many variations of what wrestlers you want or need, but for those looking to have a 'snapshot' in a specific period of time then this collection is for you!

*Edits will have MP3's when applicable so check the individual edit's bio for the information.

** As I adjust/improve/correct edits, the presentation pictures that I made and used when I first posed an edit may become outdated, but I don't have the time to do new presentation pics when I change an edits hair or attire, just fyi.
