VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS

For all achievements you will need probably 3 playthroughs (although it can be done in two).

First Playthrough

Get all collectibles. Collectibles do not carry over to New Game+ so if you miss an eBook you will have to collect them all on your next playthrough. Triangle Codes and Breach Software are optional collectibles that do not grant achievements.

Do every combat and misc achievement that you can. You can do every combat achievement after you fix your augs in mission 3. Great place for this is Underground Casino in Prague. Don't worry about achievements you didn't get, leave them for New Game+.

Do all side quests. Check out Side Quests section of this guide as some hidden side missions require you to do something specific or to complete previous quest to trigger. For example you have to talk with Otar in Underground Casino to get All in the Family side mission later in the game.

After mission 10 you will have to choose if you want to do Bank Heist or help Allison. There is an eBook that you can find only during the Bank Heist so you have to pick this mission to get Tablet Collector achievement.

Try to get Foxiest of the Hounds and Pacifist but don't worry if you miss it.

Second Playthrough (New Game+)

All your unlocked augs, inventory, money and praxis kits carrys over to New Game+

After mission 10 pick Allison this time for God Killer achievement.

Get all achievements you missed during your first playthrough.

Getting Foxiest of the Hounds should be easier this time.

Third Playthrough (I Never Asked for This)

This is a permadeath difficulty.
You have one manual save slot and when you die it will be deleted.
So back up your save game and disable Steam cloud synchronization just in case.
If you die alt+tab to desktop during the animation and use Task Manager to close game.
You should be able to load your saved game.

--- All Collectibles ---

Following this guide will grant you Tablet Collector achievement as well as help you to get all Triangle Codes, Brach Software and some extra Praxis Kits for The Jack of All Augments achievement.

All collectibles are missable and do not cary over to New Game+ (except for praxis kits) so you have to get them all in one playthrough (especially books).
After you fix your augs in mission 3 it is highly recommended that you buy following augmentations: Hacking Capture LVL 5, Icarus Dash (both upgrades), Cybernetic Arm Prosthesis (Optimized Musculature, Punch Through Wall), Cybernetic Leg Prosthesis.

Further more you have to make certain story choices or you will miss a book and void the achievement.

!!! VERY IMPORTANT !!!

- You must do Side Mission 02 "Cult of Personality"
- In Golem City (mission 7) you must win debate with Talos Rucker
- After mission 10 you must do the Bank Heist (mission 12) and skip helping Allison (mission 11)
- Before you start mission 13 you have to complete Side Mission 10 "The Harvester"
This will trigger Side Mission 11 "The Last Harvest" later in the game and there are 2 books available only while your on that mission.

Adept of the Metaverse

Engage in all Tutorials in Adam's first mission in Dubai.

Pretty much self explanatory.

A Heated Combination

Enter a classic numerical code in the game's first keypad.

Express Elevator to Hell, Going Down

Land an Icarus Landing & Strike on foes and clear out the pack with the Typhoon. Just to make sure.

You can get this right at the start of the game in first mission. When you get to the end of the level don't use the elevator. Save game and jump down using Icarus Strike and right after you land use Typhoon.
Reload save game and proceed with you playthrough.

Singh No Swan Song

Have Singh's back when it matters most.

You can get this at the end of mission 1.
Jump down and run to the front of the chopper.
There's a panel on the left side of the chopper, open it and remove the battery.

--- PRAGUE (1st visit) ---

Time Traveler

You managed to bring Koller the Neuroplasticity Calibrator before he even asked you for it.

It's best to get it on New Game+.
You can go for it on your first playthrough but you will need a Multitool to brake in to safe. Plus you will be voiding All in the Family achievement as you have to talk to Otar and you can't talk to him if you don't do Koller quest first.

Neon Nights

You halted the production of Neon in the city.

To get this achievement you have to finish Neon Nights side mission.
It can be picked up in multiple locations. If you don't have hacking yet stun people in this apartment and one of them should have pocket secretary with a password. You can also go to a nearby courtyard where dealer is selling drugs.
I'm pretty sure you can even skip to the last part and go straight to the sewers.

The Golden Ticket

You made a tough decision as to whether Irenka Bauer or Edward Brod would get to stay in Prague.

To get this achievement you have to finish The Golden Ticket side mission.
You can pick it up by talking to Drahomir at check point on your way to Kollers place.
If you decide to involve police be warned that it will count as triggering an alarm and it will void Foxiest of the Hounds achievement.
You have to deal with them yourself.

Cult of Personality

By uncovering the key to Richard's persuasive powers, you broke his control and freed his followers.

To get this achievement you have to finish Cult of Personality side mission.
You can find this quest in sewers near Adam's apartment.
You can deal with Richard directly by hacking your way to his room upstairs but this won't give you an achievement. To get it you have to go through all the steps.
After Richards talk go to the corner and examine a poster, now look for an original poster crumbled near the generator.
Go speak with Liborio and get scramblers from him. Place them on signal arrays in Richards hideout then talk with him. Pick Pity and Mitigate for best conclusion.

Honor Holds Us All Together

You completed the debate with Otar Botkoveli.

You can get this during The Calibrator side quest.
Go to Underground Casino and use straight talk with him.
This is also needed to unlock All in the Family side mission later in the game.

Samizdat

You opted to work with the Samizdat group & spread their news throughout Picus media streams.

After talking with the psychiatrist in TF29 Peter Chang will stop you near the elevator and he'll tell you about someone hacking the front company.
Follow quest markers to find Samizdat in Prague sewers.
To get the achievement you will have to work with them and break in to a bank to find some evidence in CEO's office.
I leave it up to you how you want to handle this as there are multiple ways to get there.
I'm useing the fastest one in this video but it requires cloak..[/guote]

Ground Mail Was a Better Option

Flawlessly disable a Drone via Remote Hacking.

You will need Remote Hacking for this one and a drone hacking aug.
Simply find a drone and hack it.
You can find one in Prague just outside Adam's apartment.

****! Taser Fist!

Lock-On and deploy the Quad Arc upgrade of the Tesla Knuckle on four enemies at once.

During Side Mission 4: The Calibrator you must go to Russian underground casino, it's a great place to do all combat achievements.
Save your game, purchase necessary augmentations, do the achievement and reload.
If you don't have enough Praxis Kits don't worry, you can get back here after mission 7.
For this achievement you gonna need fully upgraded Tesla.

Ramming Speed!!

Ram Dash into an enemy NPC with a fully charged Icarus Dash.

Quite simple. Can be done right after mission 3.
Save your game, fully upgrade Icarus Dash and find a hostile enemy.
Hold your Icarus Dash button to charg it and ram en enemy.

Slow & Sharp

Land an Explosive Nanoblade Shot on three enemies at once while the Focus Augmentation is active.

During Side Mission 4: The Calibrator you must go to Russian underground casino, it's a great place to do all combat achievements.
Save your game, purchase necessary augmentations, do the achievement and reload.
If you don't have enough Praxis Kits don't worry, you can get back here after mission 7.
For this achievement you gonna need fully upgraded Nanoblade and Focus Enhancement.
Activate Focus Enhancement and shoot your charged nanoblade at enemies. From a safe distance :)

The Invincible Body, Fighting an Iron Devil

Block an incoming enemy explosive with the Titan Shield.

During Side Mission 4: The Calibrator you must go to Russian underground casino, it's a great place to do all combat achievements.
Save your game, purchase necessary augmentations, do the achievement and reload.
If you don't have enough Praxis Kits don't worry, you can get back here after mission 7.
For this achievement you gonna need fully upgraded Titan augumentation.
Start a fight and wait for someone to throw a granade then run to it.

This is Great for Spring Cleaning

Use both Knockback & Precision functions of the P.E.P.S. Arm Cannon at least once.

During Side Mission 4: The Calibrator you must go to Russian underground casino, it's a great place to do all combat achievements.
Save your game, purchase necessary augmentations, do the achievement and reload.
If you don't have enough Praxis Kits don't worry, you can get back here after mission 7.
For this achievement you gonna need fully upgraded P.E.P.S. augumentation.
Atack enemies with both standard attack and charged attack.

--- GOLEM CITY ---

So Many Cucumbers

Deus Ex Is All About Cucumbers…

During Mission 7 you will get to the Greenhouse area. There are cucumbers laing all around. Let enemies see you and shoot at you, achievement will pop up when they hit one of the cucumbers.

The Golden Rookery

Find the missing Gold Penguin and return him back to his colony.

At the start of Golem City (mission 7) you must find a Gold Penguin and carry it through the big part of the level. Be carefull not to loos it.

Between Technology and the Divine

Complete & win the debate with Talos Rucker.

At the end of mission 7 you will meet Talos Rucker.
To wein conversation with him use this answers: Turn Tables, Patronize, Justify, Turn Tables.

--- PRAGUE (2nd visit) ---

01011000

You pieced together the mysterious contact and aided Helle in remembering who she really is.

You can pick this one up just after you return to Prague for the second time.
A random street sign will be gliching when you'r nearby. Interact with it to start this quest.

The Harvester

You convinced Detective Montag that neither Gunn nor Radko could be the murderer.

This mission is available during your second visit to Prague as a point of interest near Adam's apartment.
To get this achievement you have to exonerate Johnny Gunn and Radko Perry. First talk to everyone on a crime scene, especially Scandalmonger who will tell you about Radko Perry.
Then look for all the clues.
Investigate Smolinskis file that you can find in his locker in a police station. Now go talk to Gunn and Perry.
In Gunns apartment you will find a file saying he have prosthetic arms so he couldn't leave fingerprints on victims body.
In Parrys office you will find a safe with a photo in it. In the basement is a computer. Get on the chat with augumented lady who is blackmailing Perry. She will tell you he was with her at the time of murder.
Now go back to Montag and finish the mission.
If you exonerate both Johnny and Radko achievement should pop up and you will open a way to The Last Harvest achievement later in the game.

All in the Family

You aided Otar when he sought help with a family matter.

To get this side mission you have to finish The Calibrator by talking to Otar Botkoveli and agreeing to help him out in the future.
If you do, he will contact you in Golem City and ask to deal with a merchant known as Gallois. Simply talk to him and ask him about Dvali family to get rid of him in non lethal way.
Otar will contact you again in Prague after you return from Golem City.
Go to Red Queen and talk to Masa Kadlek who will need your help with guy named Domonik.
If you want to do this in non lethal way just follow my video.

The Net Is Vast and Infinite

Using Jim's keycard, you infiltrated the NSN and viewed a recording without triggering any alarms.

Story related and can't be missed.

Handle with Care

You helped Olivie escape Prague

This achievement can be done during Fade to Black side mission on your second visit to Prague. It can be picked up just after Mission 9 when you bump into Dr. Auzenne.
Agree to help her and follow the waypoint.
n Black's office you will find train ticket to Berlin - purchased for a “Dobromila Novakova”. After checking his emails go talk to Dobromila but don't ask her any questions in Red Queen. If you do she won't tell you anything useful and some man will follow her and that can void your Foxiest of the Hounds achievements.
Now follow waypoints and continue the quest until you meet with Olivie Devos. During your meeting Vlasta and 2 man will show up. Now for the best outcome and an achievement you have to offer him 1800 credits. After that talk to Olivie again for a Praxis Kit.

He's [Not] Dead, Jim (part 1)

For this achievement you will need an antidote that can only be obtained in mission 12 - Bank Heist. So after mission 10 you have to do the Bank.
When you find doing Miller at the end of the game simply talk with him and give him the antidote.

By using the Antidote, you saved the life of Jim Miller.

God Killer

You completed the debate with Allison Stanek.

After mission 10 you have to decide if you want to help Allison or rob a bank.
To get this achievement you have to pick Allison talk with her at the end of this mission.
To win the debate, select Critique, Focus, Critique, then Counsel.[/guote]

Ballsy

You Know What To Do.

Can be done in mission 11 or after mission 12.
Right after mission 10 you must decide if you want to rob a bank or help Allison. If you go to the bank you can go to the Church of the Machine God after that.
In church you will find a small courtyard with ball and a basket.
Just shoot that ball through the hoop for an achievement.

Fresh Out of the Package

With Koller's help and the Neuroplasticity Calibrator, eliminate overclocking for experimental augs.

Reward for comleteing side mission 8.
Simply go back to Koller when he calls you during your 2nd visit to Prague

--- G.A.R.A.M. FACILITY ---

Core Driller

Use the Ice Drill to bypass a large section of the GARM facility.

Can be done in mission 13.
You need one biocell to activate drill console.
Follow my video to get this one.

Invisible War

Incapacitate a cloaked enemy while still remaining cloaked yourself.

Easy to get in mission 15.
You need maxed out Glass-Shield and Smart Vision.
Simply start a fight with one of the guards or cloak where they can see you.
Activate smart vision and take one down for an achievement.

--- PRAGUE (3rd visit) ---

The Last Harvest

Using the CASIE and Dr. Cipra's keyword, you convinced Daria she isn't who she thinks she is.

This side quest becomes available during your third visit to Prague after you finished The Harvester side mission by exonerating both suspects.
Go to Darias apartment after she contacts you. Talk with detective Montag and search the apartment. Especially pay attention to her laptop.
Now go to Doctor Copri, he will give you a deactivation key-phrase.
Go to face Daria and during the conversation with her choose Confront, Use Keyword, Ad Hominem 2026, Persuade (you need CASIE for this), Humanize, Humanize, Approach.

K is for Kazdy

You freed K and Bones from the prison cell and escorted them to safety.

This side mission gets avaible during your third visit to Prague if you worked with Samizdat.
It's quite straight forward. Just follow waypoints to get the achievement.

--- LONDON ---

He's [Not] Dead, Jim (part 2)

By using the Antidote, you saved the life of Jim Miller.

For this achievement you will need an antidote that can only be obtained in mission 12 - Bank Heist. So after mission 10 you have to do the Bank.
When you find doing Miller at the end of the game simply talk with him and give him the antidote.

Spokes in Two Wheels

You managed to stop both the bombing & the Orchid poisoning. You're a living legend!

At the end of the game go save the delegates, you have 10 minutes to do this. Then you will have another 10 minutes to stop Marchenko. Fortunately for you, there's a hidden passage straight to him in the bar.

Laputan Machine

You used Marchenko's Kill Switch to defeat him, proving that some things can cut deeper than steel.

Can be done before final boss fight.
All you need to do is to pick up a kill switch before you go to face Marchenko.
It's located under the desk in a room near where Miller is.
During cutscene use this kill switch to get an achievement.

--- MISC ACHIEVEMENTS ---

And Embrace What You've Become

Install at least one experimental augmentation.

Simply instal experimental aug.

Foxiest of the Hounds

You triggered zero alarms during an entire playthrough.

This ones tricky. Save often.

• Don't run in to red laser grid.
  
• Don't fail hacking. Always save before hack.
  
• Don't let enemys to activate alarms. It's ok if they get suspicious or even go in to red as long as they don't shoot.
  
• Don't let anyone to find a body. Enemies will activate an alarm and civilians will go into panic mode. Panic voids the achievemnet.
  
• If a camera finds a body alarm will go off.
  
• Don't shoot security cameras.
  
• Don't let security camera go in to red.
  
• Don't let a turret go in to red.
  
• At the start of mission 13 (G.R.A.M.) you must call Vega instead of Miller. Calling Miller will trigger an alarm.
  
• Don't use drill in mission 13 (G.R.A.M.)
  
• In mission 15 you must do the optional objective “Neutralize All Enemies in the CSO” otherwise you will have panic in mission 16.

Ghost

Cross enemy territory like a ghost, raising no hostile reaction from anyone.

You will get this as you progress toward Foxiest of the Hounds achievement.

Humanity +

Fully upgrade a branch of your Augmentation Tree.

This one will come as you play but if want you can get it after mission 3. Simply save your game, upgrade one branch to max and then load your game.

I Can Only Fight Enemies I Can See

Complete one Hacking Challenge with Fog Security without using a Reveal Software.

Very simple and should come naturally as you play.

I Never Asked For This

You completed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on the highest possible difficulty. Hats off.

Not so hard.
You have to finish the game on hardest difficulty with permadeath.
It's great opportunity to do Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds with this one.
You have one manual save slot witch will be deleted when you die.
Save often and if you get spotted just load your game.
If you die quickly alt+tab to desktop and use Task Manager to close the game.
Use cloak to sneak by enemies and cameras. Get as much biocells to power it.
Always get as much free stuff from safe areas to sell it or turn in to crafting parts.
Micro-Assembler is great aug that is very under rated. I recommend you get it at some point and turn every found weapon in to crafting part and craft biocells for your cloak.

Augs I recommend are:

• Hacking Capture Lv. 5 (great for some extra exp)
  
• Camera Domination
  
• Hacking Stealth
  
• Smart Vision
  
• Vision Feedback of Retinal Prosthesis
  
• Cybernetic Arm Prosthesis - Punch Through Wall
  
• Cybernetic Arm Prosthesis - Optimized Musculature
  
• Icarus Landing (very important if you don't want to die by mistake)
  
• Glass-Shield Cloaking (max it)
  
• Cybernetic Leg Prosthesis - Klipspringer Jump Mod
  
• Implanted Rebreather (will help you not to die in few spots)
  
• Max out Sarif Series 8 Energy Converter
  
• Micro-Assembler

Pacifist

You completed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided without killing a single soul. Bosses are people, too.

This achievement is quite easy.
Just don't kill anyone. At the very start of the game pick non-lethal weapon. Stun Pistol is the best option as it takes a moment for a rifle to stun enemies.
Use only non-lethal melee takedowns. If someone dies not by your hand it's ok.
Talos Rucker will always die so he don't count but you have to stun Marchenko at the end of the game. Using his kill switch will void the achievement.

Use quick save often.
There is one very annoying glitch. Sometimes when you use non-lethal takedown unconscious enemy will be thrown it to the air and will probably die by falling back to the ground. If enemy has a skull on it you killed him and you must reload.

Ruthless Efficiency

Fully upgrade a weapon of your choice.

Easiest weapon to upgrade is Stun Gun.

Tablet Collector

Collect and read every unique eBook.

The Jack of All Augments

Invest in at least one augmentation in every branch of the Aug Tree.

You only need first level of every aug to get this one.
Save some praxis kits and when you have enough save and buy every aug in the tree. Then load and spend your praxis how you like.
You will get this one for sure in New Game+.

The Supreme Enlightened

You watched the End Credits and found the surprise inside.

Pretty much self explanatory.

You completed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on any difficulty.

Story related and can't be missed.

--- Side Missions ---

SM00: Neon Nights

To get this achievement you have to finish Neon Nights side mission.

SM05: Samizdat

Clean Sweep

Complete the System Rift Jensen Story without killing anyone.

Simply don't kill anyone.
Rules from original game apply.

Expose the Truth!

Decide what to do with the evidence you uncovered.

Very easy.
At the end of System Rift you must decide what to do with information you got.
Any answer except Destroy will grant you this achievement.

Extract the Data…

Get the data that Pritchard is after from within the Palisade Blade.

Story related and can't be missed.

Go Figure

Plant ShadowChild's figurine.

ShadowChild will ask you to do a favor for her. She wants you to put a figurine in one of the offices. This office is located on 3rd level.

Help Desk

Get the Blade lobby desk clerk to help you bypass security.

During your conversation with ShadowChild ask her how can she help you.
She will give you a name of a ripper working at front desk - BabaYaga50.
Use this name while talking with him.

Knock Knock

Too Hot to Handle

Complete the server chamber area without being detected by any HeatEye cameras or enemies.

HeatEye cameras can see you while you'r cloaked and through some covers so you have to stay out of sight.
In server room you can hack 2 computers to disable everything. You will need Camera Domination, Turret Domination and Robot Domination.
Gassed chamber is optional but there's an evidence for Murder He Wrote achievement.

For Mejia to confess you need two pocket secretaries with evidence against him BEFORE you go to talk with him.
After you collect them you will be able to ask him about Wilburg's murder.

Quid Pro Quo

Help out a fellow inmate by making a trade.

Very easy and can be done right at the start.
Go to cell A-305 and pick up alcohol, then go downstairs and talk to the guy near the exit.

Smooth Like Soap

Find Mejia in Cell Block B without raising an alarm.

Very easy, just stay behind cover and take it slowly.

Umlauts or no Umlauts

Decide the Fixer's fate.

If you have CASIE aug you can convince Mejia to surrender.
If you play without augs your only option is to side with Mejia and agree to kill Fixer.
Then quickly stun Mejia and talk to the Fixer.
If you side with Fixer turrets will attack you and sometimes they will kill Fixer.

Winners Don't Use Drugs (or Biocells)

Complete A Criminal Past without using the Fixer Pill or the Altered Biocell.

Simply don't use Fixer Pill or Altered Biocell.

LONDON: "He's [Not] Dead, Jim" is the first achievement to encounter and achieve within level (should go up).
Also this achievement has a prerequisite to obtain in (as shown in the video) by picking Bank Heist mission as main timeline, so it can be improved by making a new entry called like: "He's [Not] Dead, Jim (Part 1)" and placed before the "God Killer" achievement description in --PRAGUE (2nd visit)-- section.
