La Parka II got his start wrestling with some good success as a mummy called Karis la Momia in 1995. In 1996 the original La Parka started working for WCW, and AAA owner Antonio Peña had lost one of his biggest stars. Owning the rights to the La Parka character in Mexico, Peña introduced La Parka Jr. He was immediately embroiled in a war with Los Vipers. By 2001 he had won his first Rey de Reyes Championship, a distinction he would earn on 5 occasions. In 2003 the original La Parka went to work for CMLL, and after some legal wrangling La Parka Jr. became just La Parka. Shortly after that he defeated Cibernético in a Luchas de Apuesta, forcing Cibernético to unmask after the match in one of the biggest Triplemania events ever. In 2010 L.A. Park returned to AAA, and feuded with La Parka for his name. After a legendary match, an illegal tombstone piledriver, and interference by Los Perros del Mal, the Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission decreed that La Parka II would remain La Parka. He would go on to join El Inframundo and La Sociedad, eventually teaming with L.A. Park to defeat Dr. Wagner Jr. and Electroshock. On October 18, 2013, at Héroes Inmortales VII, La Parka won the 2013 Copa Antonio Peña.[63] On March 16, 2014, at Rey de Reyes, La Parka defeated Black Warrior, El Hijo del Perro Aguayo and El Zorro to win his fifth Rey de Reyes tournament. In 2017 he won the Copa Triplemanía XXV with Argenis and Bengala.
