At last! After 10,000 years she's free! It's time to conquer... EARTH!

Upon her liberation from an enchanted space trashcan, evil sorceress (and conveniently named) Rita Repulsa immediately sets to pick up where she left off millenia prior: conquer the universe! And she'll start with the nearest planet, Earth.

Zordon - the hero who imprisoned Rita - desperately orders a search to find a group of teenagers who can defend the planet ...with attitude!

Thus, the POWER RANGERS were born!
