Era - 1990s - UWF / UWF-i / RINGS

One of the slickest technicans ever to set foot in the squared circle, Kiyoshi Tamura mixed catch wrestling with sharp kicks and a never ending set of counters. A top star in UWF-i, Tamura wished to push for a close connection between pro wrestling and the martial arts world, eventually becoming a top mixed martial arts fighter. His matches in RINGS with Volk Han are some of the best displays of matwork in pro wrestling history.
