Jesse Ventura lived a full life even before he entered pro wrestling, having joined the US Navy with the specialty of underwater demoliton, was part of the Mongols biker club, was a bodybuilder and a bodyguard, even working for the Rolling Stones.

As a wrestler, Ventura won the tag titles in the AWA before signing on with the WWF. In the WWF, Ventura wrestled before being sidelined with health issues which sent him to the announcer's table, where he found a comfortable role as one of the best color commentators of the era.

Of course, Ventura's story didn't end there, and continued to take the road less traveled, from Predator to the Governor's desk to chasing after conspiracy theories.
