While the long term investments are just sitting in your inventory, you can be doing other things like farming for platinum in the present, be out on missions, or chatting with friends. It is a wise decision to start investing in long term platinum!

THE SECRET CONNECTION WITH BARO KI'TEER

If you don't know who's Baro Ki'Teer, you can check the warframe wiki[warframe.wikia.com] for more information. Baro's items are on rotation aproximately every four months. His rotation doesn't rotate quite exactly and mixes sometimes, but generally speaking it's around four months give or take. Now, you can lie to all your friends and tell them you know whats coming next because you have an exclusive secret connection with Baro Ki'Teer. You''ll be the coolest kid on the block.

Generally speaking, when Baro supplies a mod, they are worth 40platinum. When baro supplies a weapon, they are worth 70-80platinum. The prices will steadily rise until it is available again. What you're going to do is take advantage by waiting 3 months or a little over and selling high before it is available again. The warframe wiki[warframe.wikia.com] tells you the last date the item was available, so time it properly. You can either farm the ducats and directly buy them, or buy them via trading with other players. I advise against trading for primed mods due to the hefty credit tax. You can also check the warframe market[warframe.market] for current prices. The table below lists all the most lucrative items in order.

I suggest keeping a nice pool of ducats available in order to be ready to stock up when you see a lucrative item(s). Beware that the primed mods have a 1 million tax credit to the buyer. You are not charged so don't worry. When selling make sure to ask them if they have 1 million credits so you don't end up wasting time going to the dojo. If they don't have 1 million credits but are close, you can suggest to them to sell non-prime warframe blueprints for credits. The weapons are categorized as "special weapons," and are only tradeable if you do nothing to them. In other words, don't level them or put an orokin catalyst on them. Just don't touch them AT ALL, and you're good. Once you stock up on lucrative items, all you have to do now is NOTHING and wait. Woop woop!



And here's a little secret between you and I. Once the update, "Plains of Eidolon" hits in late 2017, archwing item prices will skyrocket!!! The two available archwing items are primed morphic transformer and prisma veritux.

SO WHAT ARE WE DOING AGAIN, MUN?

We're taking advantage of items of which their prices increase over time. This time it's VAULTED SETS. If you don't know, prime sets are vaulted aka taken out of reward tables and then temporarily unvaulted for 1 month every 1 to 1.5 years. The following table lists all the worthwhile lucrative sets in order. The sets are rated from moderate to very high for their rate of price increase over time. Also remember, that sets cannot be sold if they are built.

I suggest stocking up EARLY on any sets that are going to be vaulted. You can either farm them or buy them as an investment from the warframe market[warframe.market]. Sets that are already vaulted can be a costly investment. However, be sure to stay keen on their temporary unvaulting dates, so you can farm them then.

Loki Prime was worth 90 platinum before he was vaulted. His rate of increase is rated at high. These five sets I sold via the warframe market[warframe.market] a year and three months after his vault. I sold all five within an hour of posting it on the warframe market[warframe.market]

I sold 2 Ember Prime and a Glaive Prime set within 15 minutes of posting them on the warframe market[warframe.market]. These two sets were temporarily unvaulted in Jan 2017. At the time Ember Prime was worth 300 and sold 7 months afterward for 649 platinum. Ember Prime is rated very high. Glaive Prime was worth 100 platinum and sold 7 months later for 279 platinum. Glaive Prime is rated at low.

If you don't know already, the acolytes are the stalker's team out to assasinate the tenno! They come during the event "Shadow Debt," which comes every six months, though DE can be unpredictable at times. More information can be gotten on the warframe wiki[warframe.wikia.com].

The table below lists the lucrative mods and all mod prices AFTER six months. Six months is a long time, so you can choose to sell earlier than that with less profit.

Yea you definitely have a point. I think it'll be definitely slow in the beginning. It seems the masses of people tend to sell low. Then after you get through that mass, the price should raise quite nicely. There are alot of sets available but it should be sold very quickly. In my opinion every warframe player should have trinity prime which is not the case for 99% of the other prime sets.

Yeah i agree but the trinity she is really good and popular but she is so god dam easy to get i must have had 200 plus sets of her since i started playing i only started gathering her recently and alredy at 17 sets so i think she will take ages to be even 200p tbh there is enough trinity for generations to come. Its like 2 years before she is unvaulted i dont think even in 1.5 years she will be 200 maybe its just me but she is so common and even when she is gone there is tons of relics with her.

Np! Thanks for helping to make this guide better. Yes volt I rate as low-moderate. Really hasn't raised much at all. Mag prime is low because jesus she is unpopular. It's really up to you how long you want to wait man. I think the heavy hitters like trinity prime coming up, should wait for long time. As long as you can possible bear because of the rate of increase. Rhino you should wait long too I think. Ash doesn't look to be raising all that quickly. I already sold all my loki sets. I sold several a few months ago at 400p and 5 of them last week for 500p each. To me that's a nice increase. I say wait for sets like volt or ash to get to at least 200p. 200p is a pretty nice chunk of change I'd say. Sellling at 100p sounds pretty puny. I don't know man. It's up to you.

Im not from and english speaking country so mb about my mistakes and thx for accepting my tips Great guide just wondering how much do u think we should hold on to stuff before selling cuz looking at all the volt ash rhino and mag stuff i have reallly tempting to sell i tought about waiting 6 months but volt is reaching the 6 months mark and i rarely see people asking for more than 100p for the set

By my understanding of the pattern(all based on the pattern they can do crazy shit if they want) by logic in december is loki and nyx then in June is Ember and Frost then again in December is Nova and Volt by my understanding of the thing is 6 months between each time the vault opens and they tend to put only 2 frames tehy youst to put only one but the pool is getting bigger eventually will be 3 maybe 4 even but for now i think teh pool is small enough to see everyone in the spand of 2 years

Ok the vault and un-vault list has been updated to the best of my ability. It's really hard to pre-dict future unvaultings because there hasn't been exact patterns.

However, the future vaultings like trinity prime, saryn prime etc, should be very accurate. There actually is a set pattern for those.

Therefor the SAME prime set un-vaults every 1 – 1.5 year. That means you could be right about Nyx unvaulting next, but DE doesn’t exactly follow a formula. It could be nyx loki and frost. Then when is next ember prime unvaulting? It doesn't seem all un-vaultings follow exact timing.

And could you write clearer so I can understand you better? It's hard for me to understand exactly what your saying.
