Would be fun if it didn't crash every once in a while and wasn't made so retarded.
I played this on hard mode and I know games on hard mode are supposed to be hard. But that strider section was just annoying and made me spam the quick save button, just so I wouldn't be blasted because the lack of cover. The entire chapter follow freeman was retarded. And those NPCs just won't stay put. In Half Life 1 when you told an NPC to stay somewhere they stayed, no now I have to worry about a strider killing my only medic. Ravenholm, Sand trap (partially) maybe the air-boat section even though it became annoying after a minute and Nova Prospekt were the only fun part of the game. In those parts you got new stuff introduced and it was fun carrying a piece of wood to throw it at a zombie eventually. And the prison break was especially fun since you have an army of ant lions to cover you. But the ending was annoying. Yes of-course. Take away all my weapons for a one hit gravity gun. That truly is fun. Just right click and death. (it isn't) its cool throwing death bodies. But they make it hard by just throwing more enemies at you. And you have this NPC that is just annoying cause she keeps making it seem like there is some intressting story (there isn't)
The mods are decent though.
Even though the game doesn't even have workshop support. Something you would expect from valve.

Less striders, decent. Just pirate it.
