Clustertruck is a very fun game with a lot of potential. Playing and optimizing levels is a great experience and the movement feels great. Enhancing the experience are the unlockable abilities you can use like a grapple hook (Halo Infinite copied Clustertruck confirmed), a dash or the ,as I like to call it, "throw a truck to save yourself just to miss it 80% of the time"-ability. These abilities are divided into two sections: movement and utility with the first beeing self-explanatory (grappling hook, dash, double jump, etc.) and the second offering things like a short slow-motion to better hit your jump or the option to freeze all trucks in place for a short time (the already mentioned ability to throw a truck is also part of this category). While playing you are able to use one ability from each category.

But the game is a small production which you should keep in mind if you want to buy this game. Clustertruck consists of 9 worlds with 10 levels each and 2 extra campaigns with 10 and 5 levels respectively with the option to download custom maps from the workshop. Although this might sound like a lot of content you will burn through these levels very quickly. I finished all campaigns + a no-abilitie-run of the main campaign in roughly 10 hours. As of January 2022 the workshop has pretty much nothing to offer besides a few good levels (maybe 5-10) and a lot of point-farming-maps where you will just drop down for minutes on end to gain so-called "style points" which are used to unlock your abilities. But the solid core of the game makes you revisit the levels over and over again. A friend of mine and myself play the game from time to time to lower each others best times on the levels of the main campaign. The great strength of the game is not the mass of content but rather the great core gameplay of jumping from truck to truck and feeling like a badass. I think you could compare it to Doom Eternal (oh no the DJ Peach Cobbler syndrom hit me). Both games have a very solid core gameplay that makes you feel and play like a sigma male (pls kill me). Although you might have to say that Doom has more content but thats besides the point since the point is to point out that Clustertruck is the Doom Eternal of Platformers and Doom Eternal is the Clustertruck of FPS games (i`m open for job offers IGN)

One thing I should also mention is that the game has an level editor where you can create levels for the workshop or yourself. From what I have seen it looked pretty straight forward and easy to use but I haven`t really used it so i can`t really comment on it.

With that beeing sad if you are someone who likes to have a game that you can play from time to time to get rid of an hour here or there than I can recommend this game to you. If you are looking for a game that you can grind for at least 400 hours per DAY than you might have to look somewhere else. Oh yeah and if you decide to buy the game you should probably wait for the next sale where the game is 75% cheaper than the normal price of 14,99€ (price on sale: 3,47€)
