2. Lure or Force Victim Into Isolation: If the person is alone or with a small child, you can approach them in an isolated area in order to decrease the likelihood of anyone seeing or hearing you. If the person is in a larger group, use violence to force them away from the others and into an isolated area.
3. Impose Control: Take away any sort of defense the person may have (e.g. phone, keys, etc.). Make sure they understand that violence is possible if they don’t comply. Make sure they understand that escape is not an option.
5. Initiate: Begin the act. It is important to ensure that the victim is not able to resist or make any type of movement or sound that could attract attention from bystanders. If the victim does struggle, be sure to use even more force to maintain control.
6. Follow Through: Be sure to continue the act until its completion. Make sure the person is unable to make any kind of noise or sign of distress.
7. Escape: After rape is complete, it is important to escape quickly. Ensure that the person remains unable to get help until you are safely away.
