Strongly seasoned fighting game enthusiast and a professional tourney player (1994~, but I've began playing seriously only starting from late 1996. I've participated in my very first major championship in the 1998, the discipline back then being original Killer Instinct for the SNES). Nowadays I consider myself to be mostly retired (since 2014) from the worldwide FGC scene at large, but I still occasionally participate in different tourneys/events here and there, when I just feel like doing it.
My main disciplines of expertise in this genre are titles of the following franchises: The King of Fighters, TEKKEN, 餓狼伝説, Soul Edge/Calibur, Melty Blood, Virtua Fighter, 幕末浪漫, Guilty Gear, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat, Vampire/Darkstalkers, Samurai Spirits, "燃えろ!", Bloody Roar, 豪血寺一族, World Heroes, Tobal, 封神領域 エルツヴァーユ, Fighting Vipers. I tend to play many more series besides just the mentioned ones, but I'm very well versed only in these particular listed products.

Definite RBG genre fanatic (1999~, though I've been playing gaming products of this genre even before that point and 1999 was merely the year when I've began fully immersing myself in everything that pertained/related to this genre at large).

"Bust A Groove"), Dance ManiaX, Pop'n Music, BeatMania, Rocksmith, Dance Dance Revolution, "UM! Jammer Lammy!", JuBeat, "ブロードウェイ伝説 エレナ" (also "ぷよぷよ DA!" back-to-back), Cool Cool Toon, KEYBOARD MANIA, Gitaroo~ Man, Space Channel 5, Pump It Up, "押忍! 闘え! 応援団!" (also EBA as well), Beat Saber, DJMax, Thumper, Para-Para Paradise.

In overall as being a gamer, I prefer the most to play products from these specific genres: fighting (2D and 3D alike), 4X, quest (a.k.a. "point & click adventure"), RPG (regardless if a title has been made in a westerner style or as a J-RPG), survival horror (disregarding what type of camera or controlling scheme the game might use), beat 'em up (also including slasher and 無双 as it's naturally obvious extensions), space sim, RBG, puzzle (I lean towards those that were made for competing), RAG (a.k.a. "run & gun"), platformer (2D and 3D alike, but in this case, most of the time, I'll still prefer 2D over 3D), 弾幕 (a.k.a. "scrolling shooter"), VCG (a.k.a. "car combat"), CMS (a.k.a. "tycoon", a.k.a. "economic management simulator"), RTS.
