Pros
-Fantastic pixel art
-Great soundtrack that's very memorable
-Solid level design (for the most part)
-Great, ikeable characters
-A surprisingly good story

Cons
-Most of the "puzzles" are just finding a certain switch that opens a certain door
-I didn't enjoy a single boss fight in this game. They're way too easy and throw out the same attacks over and over and over again. I found that most of the mini-bosses (which are just huge hordes of normal enemies) were harder than the actual bosses
-Enemies get pretty boring to fight as circle strafing just completely destroys each and every single one with only a few exceptions
-Some enemies/enemy attacks blend right into the background, which gets pretty frustrating really fast

Overall, I would give this game a 7.5/10 and would recommend it, despite its flaws.

One of the best indie games I have played this year (including 2016). Great atmosphere, detailed environments, and puzzles that are satisfying to solve are just a few of the great things that this game has to offer. If you don't have it already, buy it right now.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemy placement, clunky stealth, being severly punished for even slightly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, unfair checkpoints, and last but certainly not least poor PC optimization have led to one of the poorest gaming experiences I have had all year.

This game is really good. Not much else to say honestly.

This game is not just the game of the year, it's the game of the century. It's the only game I've ever felt compelled to 100% complete twice (I know it says I only have 19 hours in the game, but I completed it twice when I was a filthy console peasant on PS4). Buy this game immediately if you don't have it already.
