I'm a bit of a game collector. I have tried just about every genre available. I have found that I enjoy gaming most when done in the same room as friends and family, and most of my Steam library reflects that. The online games in my collection can (for the most part) be played cooperatively, and I have amassed quite a large local multiplayer selection.

On top of my multiplayer selections, I have found that I can enjoy a good hack and slash, FPS, and RPG on my own. Admittedly, I dabble in many games and complete a precious few. My collection resides here, and on GOG. I frequently subscribe to the Humble Monthly, and purchase bundles and single titles from Humble, Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, and others. I always compare prices using isthereanydeal.com , and seldom purchase anything at full price.

To me, the gameplay matters more than the graphics. One of my favorite games is Chrono Trigger, for the Super Nintendo. Others include Cave Story and Dwarf Fortress. For this reason, I like to explore some of the lesser known indie games on offer.

I have played a host of wonderful freeware games such as: Dwarf Fortress, Battle for Wesnoth, Cave Story, Warzone 2100, 0A.D, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Tales of Maj'Eyal, Urban Terror, True Combat: Elite, Hedgewars, Eternal Daughter, Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War, and many many more.

I also admit that I have an unruly heap of trash games, as many games tend to come cheaper in bundles. I have stopped activating the more recent fodder titles, but what's done is done.
