Aces and Adventures offers little excitement in terms of gameplay, and the narrative is so uninteresting that I couldn’t even tell what it was about. I was initially drawn in by the poker aspect, but it quickly became dull, with a clunky UI and an unbearably slow pace. Most of the time, you're just playing high cards and using mostly ineffective abilities, which makes it feel more boring than poker without money. Ultimately, it becomes a tedious experience, and I can't recommend it to anyone looking for a clever deck builder.
