game fun

basically hl3 but you're EVIL and its probably the best experience i've ever had with source outside of the time i made 3 children cry at once on gmod darkrp

combat is fun as hell. It occasionally gets brutal, but you can replace skill with being smart, which was the point of half-life. my only complaint is i can't kick while reloading. The polish expected from a Valve release. 9/10

the story, while i haven't seen the whole thing, is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. Once again, the polish expected from a Valve release. I have a few gripes with seemingly being offered a choice but not actually getting to make the choice, but other than that it kept me hooked. The Breadmen did one hell of a job 9/10

graphics are yummy. the dynamic lighting and environment design and everything activates my neurons in ways i didn't think were possible in source. Valve polish with Breadmen flair. 10/10

general gameplay was also wonderful like the combat. Smooth, nothing really immersion breaking ever. I was forced to actually think in the puzzles. Wonderful. 10/10

This feels like valve quality. It certainly feels like it's as long as Half-Life 2, and it's got way more depth. It's really polished, and I didn't notice any bugs other than the usual sourcey-ness of Source.

overall 9.5/10 play it NOW before you get spoilers. It's free but I'd gladly have paid $20 or 30$ for this. No other free Half-Life mod gets THAT appraisal from me.
