Warsim is a game that I've had a lot of fun with since I purchased it a few months back. Simple yet nice ASCII graphics, decent depth and some good humor snuck in. Keep in mind that this is the first text-based game I've played. Prior to seeing a Let's Play of the game I never thought I could ever enjoy a game that doesn't have reguler visual graphics. I wasn't even much of a fan of the fantasy genre. But, after seeing said Let's Play I thought: "Huh, this actually looks like a prettyb good game. And it sure isn't very expensive. Guess I'll have a look." And I'm so glad I did. The game is still a bit bare-bones. But I think it has potential. The developer is continuing to work hard to make the game better, fixing bugs and implementing new features, including a lot of player suggestions. With some work, Warsim could probably become a lovely Indie-game.

Now, is everyone going to have as good a time with Warsim as I have? No. But just based on the game being a text-based fantasy kingdom management game I think you can figure out if you'll absolutely despise this game yourself. But if you think the game sounds appealing, I recommend you check it out like I did. It's only a few bucks, and who knows? Maybe it'll be worth the price of admission and not much else, or maybe you'll have hours upon hours of fun. :)
