Get Stickminned: The Game!

Thus far enjoyable, will likely expand this review in the future.

Please only buy DLC/Story Packs/Species Packs when they are on a meaningful sale, if you have a small-moderate games purchasing budget. As I'm sure many of you are aware, Paradox games tend to have issues with DLC spamming, and Stellaris isn't an exception.

Honestly, this game isn't worth the money. The devs had a really nice concept, but the squandered it with piss poor implementation. Clunky controls, bad UI and unfair and unbalanced gameplay all add to the feeling that your money just got snatched into the pockets of the devs. And by the looks of it, there certainly aren't any updates on the horizon to fix any of it. Overall, I don't think you should buy this game, even on a sale. It isn't worth your money and it certainly isn't worth your time.

The masks are decent, and hey, it's for charity. A good way to get a bit of Covid feel in your game, even if there aren't any related events/features yet.

If you wonder why or even how I got this for free: I got it because I backed the game on kickstarter. Thus I feel that saying that I payed for it, while technically true, feels missleading since it wasn't a conscious decision to spend my money that led me to acquire it.

It's got a fair few bugs in need of ironing out, and still needs more content. But for what it is, I find it to be good fun. It certainly isn't abandondoned as far as new development goes. Overall, I'd recommend it if you already like similar games or think it sounds like a good concept.

An improvement over 911 Operator, which (IMO) already was a good game. Really it just comes down to wether or not you like this sort of management game. But if you already enjoyed 911 Operator, you'll almost certainly like/love this one too.

Butterlord 2, what more could you need?
