Good Game

All I need in life :)

Very good visuals and audio almost like you are in a movie! It's a little over 20 minutes with a few interactions... You definitely need room-scale for this, a small space is enough but if you have a bigger space you can get more out of it since you can walk around more and look at all the details up close!

Can't wait for the next epidsode, VR needs more of those kind of games!!

Positive:
+ Game worked perfectly fine on my Oculus Rift.
+ Art Design (very simplistic but in a good way, I liked it).
+ Great voice acting.
+ Story telling, the environment and the sounds work hand in hand, made me feel immersed.
+ Short, but sweet storyline.


Negative:
- Only two animated scenes
- Not all dialogue is voice acted (feels weird to hear the protagonist in one sentence just to read the next sentence in silent because it wasn't voice acted. If I would have to guess I would say about 80-90% of the dialogue IS voice acted though, so it wasn't that big of a deal for me personally).


Overall, I enjoyed this game. The 90 minutes of playtime (in my case, it obvioulsy depends on how fast of a reader you are) are well worth the $3.99 and I would love to see more games of that kind!

*Update at the botttom* Unplayable with keyboard / mouse right now! The camera is bugged, in terms of it won't move at all, when moving the mouse too slow.. sometimes the camera moves with a delay depending on how fast you move your mouse.. Hoping for a quick fix, shouldn't take too long... Will update this review when game is playable.

/ EDIT 2 (after release of episode 2): I'm no longer experiencing issues! It now feels as if the game registers the mouse input much better, resulting in smooth camera movement. Story wise the first and second episode (half an hour in on the 2nd episode) are really great I'm enjoying every second of this game!

Started with the beta, many bugs - enjoyed it though.. When the game came out it still had alooot of bugs and they got annoying after time, especially that you couldn't find games with friends.. So I didn't touch this game for a reeeeally long time and just checked it out again..

My opinion: tried to play this game, ended up sitting here for an hour not playing a single match.. game crashes, endless loading screens, managed to get into a game - lagging server, killer left a few seconds after it started...

If I would have bought this game via steam, I would have requested a refund explaining the customer support the situation!

Don't buy this game!

Didn't think i would ever have to change a review for a game that I have played for over 2k hours (console+pc) but epic games really ruined this game for me.. First they removed the game from steam, forcing users to create an epic games account in order to play the game which I get, I mean they want to compete with steam so they lure players with free games and exlusivities in order to make up for them offering a platform that is simply worse than steam in sooo many ways.. But as if that wasn't enough they now announced to remove player to player trading from the game to maximize their profits since players will now be unable to get their desired items by trading and instead will have to buy them with real money using the in game shop...

I really enjoyed this game. If you like the Walking Dead series from Telltale Games you should really check this one out!
