My Harem is generic, lewd memory game with middle eastern harem theme.

Gameplay

Each stage consists of an image covered with (face down) colored cards. You can turn over two cards at a time. If you match two of the same, they are removed from the board (revealing the image beneath). Once all cards have been removed from the board, you move onto the next stage.

Story

There is no story, moving on.

Visuals

The titlescreen looks fine, and the user interface is just the same, okay. All is easy to navigate. From the "Options" menu, you can adjust sound and visual settings. "Memory" is a gallery, where you can enjoy previously completed images. Images in the gallery can be fullscreened and the user interface is hidden by default.

If you turn over two wrong cards, you're forced to watch an animation that's way too long. I don't like it one bit.

- The Goods -
The artwork is consistantly styled and quality. There are ten base images, with forty images total. Expect basic female nudity.

Verdict

This is a generic memory game, and shovelware too. But it's got great artwork and a everything a memory game ought to have. If you like memory games or the artwork, this isn't a bad grab.

Yep, memory games are a dime a dozen. Now, it's not fair to say all of them are trash. . . . but most of them are in fact copy/pasted code. I doubt people purchase these titles to fap fap, but I could be wrong. I'm not a fan of memory games myself, but they keep showing up on Steam — clearly, there's a market for them.

just go on Gelbooru lmao, memory games are so trash that you can write a generator for them, they barely qualify as games; the devs don't even have to come up with a story as you would when making a VN. If you're hard just go masturbate, there's infinite fap material for free out there, and probably these games have been ripped already

I have a different point of view. Not all shovelware is created equal, some better than the next. As a critic, I try to distinguish between what's worth a purchase and what's not, even if it's the same ol' stuff. Consider Pen in Apple Studio. They are behind a series of memory games I consider "shovelware", but each title showcases animated CGs from a talented crew. For anyone who doesn't support shovelware, I try to make it clear what is/isn't from my reviews, so they can support other developers if they choose to do so.
