NEKO-GIRL PLAY is a three-in-one lewd game about anime girls with animal features.

This title looks strikingly familiar, a copy of the developer's previous release Play With Neko. Let's see how they ironed out the flaws of the previous title. Spoiler alert. . . they didn't.

Gameplay
Each level is comprised of three games; first, you play a game of "memory", then solve a swippy-swappy puzzle, then you play a modified version of "rock-paper-scissors".

In the memory game, you have a board which is covered in glittery cards. Beneath each card is a colored pair of panties. The goal is to match two cards with the same colored panties, revealing the image underneath. In the puzzle game, the image is then seperated into (face-up) tiles. You must rearrange those tiles to recomplete the image.

Finally, there's the rock-paper-scissors game. In this game, there are five options to choose. For more information on what beats what, you can hit the "question mark" the top of the screen, which will provide a useful diagram. I suggest spam-clicking your choice of option, since the game will register each click as a "win", "draw", or "lose" in rapid succession.

Story
There is no story. Moving on.

Visuals
The title screen looks good enough, as does the gallery. I thought the in-game particle effects were a bit excessive, but I'm a sucker for useless sparkles. Each screen is easy to navigate, and everything worked together well. The gallery, however is really bad. Though you can review completed images, you can't see them with their original backgrounds. You can't fullscreen them, and you can only view the undressed versions of the girls. You can't zoom or hide the user interface either.

- The Goods -
The artwork is good, but I did see some off details (like strange body shapes, but nothing major). It is static, but good static art is better than poorly animated art. Unfortunately, the gallery blows. Expect female nudity and leaky fluids.

Verdict
The gameplay isn't that bad, but it was a bit slow (and the rock-paper-scissors was awful). The gallery was terrible, and the developers clearly made little effort to fix the last game's flaws. You can purchase a better memory and swippy-swappy game for the same price, animated too. I don't recommend this title.

- Developer Props -
Following my review, the Developers streamlined gameplay with quicker, smoother animations and they added a few quality of life changes. That's a "+1" in my books.

"Expect female nudity and leaky fluids." - Ben Shapiro said that's not supposed to happen! :justM::justO::justI::justS::just_T:

I agree about the proper gallery, that's basically the only reason behind these games.
There's games which has so little gameplay that only lasts about 5 minutes, but that gets a very positive rating because of the art and a proper way to browse it.

Ah yes! I did see the latest updates for this title, and they finally went live for my copy of the game. These are all positive changes, I noticed a clear enhancement of gameplay. At this point, my biggest issue (by far) is the gallery. While I'm still not terribly fond of the gameplay, I think a proper gallery would warrant a "Recommended" on my end. The ability to "fullscreen" images, and view the one-two-three steps of undress I feel are staples for this genre of game.

Many players seek "adult" games (mostly) for the "adult-content". With that in mind, I think a proper gallery is essential. While there are a few other features I would suggest for the feature, I reckon you've got your hands full as-is.
