Probably the closest you'll get to anything made by Valve related to Half-Life anymore.

But in all seriousness, it's a great mod. The soundtrack is by Lazerhawk, which is reason enough to get it. Its free and it's worth your time.

Would've been an alright port, if it weren't for the fact that it seems to crash every other cutscene. In my playtime so far, I've counted 13 crashes. This itself would probably not deter me from continuing to play it, but restarting missions from the beginning is really annoying.

The game itself is great, I loved it on PS3, and it feels a lot more fluid with a keyboard and mouse, maybe not as fluid for driving, but that seems to be the same on every open world driving game. You could use a gamepad, however the base game's support for it is awful, I couldn't figure out how to control the camera, even when changing up the binds from the options. I suppose you could use big picture mode, however setting up the controls is a pain, especially when nobody has posted any presets yet. (someone do that, please, I beg of you.)

Overall, it isn't as horrible a port to PC as perhaps, one very similar game, also released in 2008, you know the one. But nobody likes to restart missions all over again just because the game won't stop crashing. You might have fun just messing around in the map, blowing stuff up, which doesn't seem to crash the game. The character editor lets you create abominations, which can be pretty fun. However, seeing as how I played this game for countless hours on the PS3 already, I personally find that pretty lame now.

Anyway, it's well priced for what it is, and it seems to go on sale for $2.49 pretty often, however the same is true for Saints Row: The Third, a much more recent (and personally, more memorable) game.

Its ok, but there are usually max 98 players online and only 3 servers to play on (most of the time)
Sometimes there arent any servers at all, as they are all in progress and a balanced match usually can take 1-2 hours.
