Pretty fun for what it is so far, it has a pretty involved weapon modding system that is fun and from what I can tell is all real life attatchments for the guns, and they are satifying to shoot. It is of course very rough around the edges. AI will hopefully get an overhaul as they are either incapable of aiming or they are an absolute laser.

I wanted to like this game but it is a clumsy platformer, combat feels sluggish and there is very little 'feel' to the game. Weapon hits sound like tapping an empty can of tuna. The impact you have on enemies vs the impact they have on you is incredibly one sided. It's not diffucult by any means but it is just utterly tedious. There's not enough content to justify paying more than $5 for this. They should have stuck with the old Stick of Truth/Fractured but Whole formula.

So far it's just not fun at all. The only thing I have experienced is CONSTANT frustration with the enemy AI spotting you disguise or no, a lack of combat/movment. There's no melee option and I can't seem to find a weapon select for the life of me other than going into the actual menu itself and pausing the game. It's incredibly dull, vague, uninteresting, tedious and unintuitive. Metal Gear Solid but subtract every single factor that made that game enjoyable.

This game has a lot of potential to be awesome. There are just too many flaws in the controls. The lock on system, if you can call it a system is random and when it DOES decide to lock on, it's usually the wrong enemy and you get shafted. Lords of the Fallen had almost the exact same problem but they fixed it with a customizable lock on priority.

The dodging can be effective, but if you try it with the bosses you will just not be able to manage a decent DPS while getting slowly worn down with the occasional hit until you run out of potions.

Parry would be AMAZING, the only problem is, even with the perk that expands the timing window, it's so hit or miss that it cannot be relied upon whatsoever. There's a perk that increases the damage done with parrying but the window for timing is not only incredibly small but it seems to be temperamental as hell. You never know when it's actually going to work. It's more likely that you will miss the parry, making this an entirely unreliable mechanic.

Exploration is a bit painful, you can easily get lost in the sameness of the levels and exploration is barely rewarded and often punished.

Everything else about this game is okay. Nothing special to speak of here. It's a very unrewarding feeling. I also bet a LOT of players quit and were not able to get their moneys worth because the first boss is an absolute nightmare. I mean he's no fume knight or anything, but for a first boss he is far too brutal. his special can one shot you and is incredibly hard to counter and his uiltimate forces you to run away an arbritary distance/direction, there are times when he's missed me when I was standing in front of him and times when he hit me when I was the full length of the arena away.

The leveling system is weak, putting any points into strength is pointless you only get a point or so of damage every few levels. And the sabre is meant for white damage so giving any wound damage is pointless. especially since a couple points every level is meager at best. Putting points into health can be benefical to some extent but eventually the bosses start hitting so hard that a large health pool isn't going to help much.
plague is actually OK, I found investing in this early and often to be the best as wound damage is the more vital of the two health bars that all enemies have.

I really wanted to enjoy this game as the atmosphere is pretty cool and when the combat system works it feels really good, unfortunately that isn't a common occurance, especially with the bosses.

Mostly it's a kind of crappy uncharted clone with a story that will bore you to tears, piss poor combat mechanics, controls that just don't work half the time, terrible voice acting/direction and purely tedious puzzles that lack any creativity and require no thought. Glad I waited until the price dropped. I got my moneys worth at least for 12 bucks.

Seriously, some of the dialogue and character choices in game make NO sense. Lara is cute tho and that's the only reason they sold this game.

The main game and the endless trials are super fun but a lot of the quests are worse than chewing tinfoil so if you don't care about achievements then it's fine. Giving this a thumbs up cause it is addicting and can be a lot of fun. I hope the devs continue to work on the balances.

I wanted to give this a thumbs up, but I can't. I adore Postal 2 and Braindamaged was a fun little romp into another genre. But Postal 4 is an unfortunate mess of utterly gamebreaking bugs, errors and crashes. If the devs can salvage this into something actually playable it will be just as good as Postal 2.

Not only did ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not fix ANYTHING about these games, they have actively made them utterly unplayable.

These are not the GTA games you played on PS2. They took everything that was good about these games, looked us in the eye as gamers and said "♥♥♥♥ you, give us money even tho we did NOTHING." Then proceeded to spit out this utterly uinplayable mess of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ turd.

Definitive edition? It defines what passes for undigestible material left in a goats defacation.

I wanted the ultimate GTA experience. Not a festering turd with a bad paint job.

GTAVI better be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FLAWLESS.

Can't even find how to start a match there is such a cluster of exterraneous crap. It's a pathetic money grab of a mistake. I wish we could go back to early Verdansk. At least the game was playable back then... Truly and utterly pathetic. I feel bad for everyone working on the innards of this game. Being bandied back and forth by bean counters and not being able to make the game for the love of gaming.

To every executive and money grubbing subhuman, ♥♥♥♥ YOU. You are whats wrong with the world today.

Probably THE best non From souls games I have ever played. Story was awesome, one of the few games were I actually cared about NPCs or notes in the story. The gameplay has a bit of a learning curve but once you learn to perfect parry and read an enemies moveset you will dominate, especially with the plethora of movsets, damage types, fabnle arts etc. I absolutely look forward to the DLC with great anticipation.
