Elden Ring is the type of game that is way too good to actually exist. The world offers so much exploration, variety and charm upon multiple journeys. I would describe the gameplay as a much needed remix of what worked well in Dark Souls 3 with much needed depth and mobility. The ability to jump and traverse a map vertically to a degree added a whole new dimension to the game that I didnt know I needed. The bosses are as good as ever, rewarding you for good timing and understanding their animations rather than just trying to mash dodge through their attacks. Personally I have played a melee strength build and a melee dex build and found both very rewarding and fun to play, often I had to stop a boss fight to go and explore the world and gather runes as well as upgrades in order to meet the task at hand, but it never felt like a chore. It felt natural, these bosses are imposing and aggressive and I need to do a lot to be on their level and be able to take them head on.
The endings offered were great and I couldnt put the controller down, if you ever wanted to play a souls game there has never been a better time, and long time fans should expect some of From's best work. 10/10 game, open world games have a lot of ground to cover to be on the same level.

I may not be able to talk to women but at least I can launch a failed land invasion into Germany losing my entire military on a gamble to conquer Berlin. Would recommend if you like having hours of hard work become destroyed because you didnt draw a front line properly and lost your capital.

Good game, a little on the short side but great if it is on sale.
