Its difficult to describe Eliza concisely. I will just say this; if you ever wondered what your doing with your life, have you considered the path your heading down is the only one available? Eliza gives you the story of a women who is at a crosswalk in her life and seeing here story play out might offer some perspective on your own life. Eliza makes you pause and step back and consider the life you have lived so far and where your going. Its rare to see games like this, i'm glad I found it.

There are just so many fundamental mechanics missing. The only way you can move is by dragging the entire world with you hand which is very nauseating. There is no way to open a menu to resign or leave a match. You cant speak or chat with your opponent, there is only three time control modes. You don't have spend very long to realise this is a ♥♥♥♥ game, chess in table top simulator is literally a million times better and doesn't make you want to trow up every time you move

I saw the overwhelmingly negative reviews and thought it was probably just the community being overly melodramatic.

I was wrong, the game is completely broken. Every time you reopen the game you are basically coin flipping whether or not you get a broken savefile. If your lucky its just a minor bug like half you mission tree going missing, or a minor nation missing. If your more unlucky your save file will straight up be corrupted and unplayable.

Even if you don't care about the game being broken with bugs, and you are willing to wait for it to be patched. I still wouldn't recommend buying this dlc at full price, because it is extremely lacking in new content. Vote with your wallet, don't make the same mistake as me, don't buy this.

Do you want a fun intuitive grand strategy game, where you can conquer the world, and place your mark in the history books? Well than go play the CIV franchise

But if you want a grand strategy game, with an extremely steep learning curve, that is so overly complicated, that you still don't understand the mechanics after 1000 hours, and constantly raging over why the RNG gods oppose you?

Well than EU4 is for you!

A lot of people will probably buy all three visual novels at the same time, so below are my non spoiler reason for why you should/shouldn't read world end economica.

Episode 1: All in all a good visual novel with excellent world building. If you liked Isuna Hasekura's other work i strongly recommend episode 1

Episode 2: A Great continuation of episode 1, the fact that a large part of the plot and character development revolves around the problems that arose at the ending of the first, almost makes it feel like episode 1 was the prologue. If you liked episode you're gonna love episode 2.

Episode 3: The last episode are in many ways a letdown, it feels like it was something that was only made out of contractual obligation. The "economic" aspect is leaned into much more heavily than in the previous two, and the rest of the story is either neglected or under developed. Long stretches of the story is spent explaining how different financial products work, but it mostly feels like you're reading something copy pasted from investopedia. After having shoved financial textbook disposition down you're throat for the first half part, it presents the "macro economic" dilemma. Sadly I can't recommend the final even if your main interest was the economic part. As it in many ways seem to misunderstand and misrepresent the fundamentals behind the major macroeconomic issues, while presenting counterintuitive solutions.

TDLR: Ep 1 and 2 great, ep 3 bad
