After spending countless hours in the Bayou, I can say that this game is an absolute gem. Underrated and truly one-of-a-kind. While now it still bears it's piece of originality, this game used to be something completely different before making it out of early-access. For a seasoned player, even I was scared to make a twig snap during my first games. The amount of information you get from the game is enough to make you interested but not nearly enough to spoil the initial fun.
After that, it becomes a truly amazing experience where you get to enjoy all the nice things about competetive shooters, while also keeping the thick atmosphere of this beautiful game.
The selection of weapons, hunter skins and perks/traits make for a truly amazing experience where one might wonder what else there is to discover.
From possibly powerful yet expensive loadouts, with hunters blending into the environments to the most hilariously cheap yet somehow effective loadouts with a hunter who has a target on his chest, nothing will match the feeling of extinguishing someones life.
From matches where you die almost instantly after spawning, maybe to an enemy hunter, or perhaps solely out of bad luck, dying to an AI, to matches where the whole server lay dead beneath your feet.
From matches where silence is a rarity, to matches where the crickets start making you go crazy.
Matches where the server decided to rush the Boss lair, to matches where they're all creeping around with crossbows and bow 'n' arrows.
From matches where the game truly uses the whole 60 minutes of game time, to matches where you wish you had the chance to get your bearings.
This game truly has it's magic.
Whether you enjoy a slow and methodical playstyle, or perhaps a more guns-blazing, take every fight kind of playstyle, you're sure to find your own medicine.

I would absolutely recommend buying this, no matter the price.
