Chill, can be challenging but if you play on easy mode it's not really. Interesting to build your own town and see how it plays out. Resource managing and (to a lesser degree) placement are important.

You know, it's really a fun little game. I enjoy how relaxing it is. The challenges are nice. The in game currency option helps give one a goal.
It's a well thought out, beautiful little game and I enjoy the time I've spent with it.

I have loved this game for years. It's relaxing, a good social place or you can just zone out with NPC puzzles, and there are lots of different elements to learn, some of them quite challenging.
The cons are that it has always had an awkward interface to learn, it can't be made full screen, and there are elements of pay to play that have always been a bit obnoxious. BUT you do not need to pay money to get the vast majority of game content. There is also a lot of trade, which helps.
All in all, good game. Hopefully it keeps going for a while.

Excellent game. Had a bug where folks were rapid fire joining and leaving factions which eventually made my game difficult to advance. Switched to the Game of thrones mod, and I love it. It's hard, but it's obviously made with meticulous details by someone who loves the books/show. There are still some bugs to work out in the mod, but overall, amazing. A+ from me. This game is well worth the money IMO.

This game can eat your life. It took me forever to beat because evolving my children took a while. It's got some really challenging elements to it. The variation in the characters is great. The puzzle rooms are interesting.
I'd suggest learning which attributes of your hero work best for your playstyle, then look for those in your next selections. If they don't offer you the best they can, just go in and get as much gold as you can. Upgrade. Try again.
You will die a lot. It's part of the fun.

Really well done. I would buy it again.

Early Access Review
This is a fun and challenging game. It lets you play as the virus, attempting to wipe off the world. One has to beat each 'level" (the level being the most recently unlocked pathogen) before one can advance.
Possibility to make your own custom scenarios. I haven't done that part yet, because just the regular solo game is holding my interest and challenging enough that I've not played it all the way through!
Great game. Especially if you can get it on sale.
Oh, and as a nurse, I have to say that it even has some believablity. Someone studied disease transmission before they created this. It's well put together.

This is a relaxing game. I just wish there were a 'casual' mode so one can just play solitare if one has already beaten the game and all the achievements.

I suppose I could play through the adventure again...but really it would be nice if it just had the solitare alone as an option.

If you like relaxing card games this will eat your time, until you beat it, and wish there was a bit more.
Best 19 cents I've spent all month.

GREAT game. VERY hard; but in a rewarding sort of way. Do not get attached to your ship! Even in perfect scenarios stuff can go wrong very quickly.
I would totally give this game a high thumbs up. Prepare to lose hours of your life trying to win!
Completely worth every penny I spent on it.

Very much like the old 'zoo tycoon' game. A little bit more dumbed down, however; it has a simple charm. So far I'm only dissapointed by the customization. The options for customizing your zoo are limited (beyond simple diversity of creatures). I liked the aspect of zoo tycoon where you could make whole water gardens and really get creative. This game doesn't allow enough features (so far) for that to be a thing.
Still, it's entertaining, and if you liked the origional zoo tycoon the controls will be quite similar. It would be very nice for children, provided they're at least at reading age.
I'd wait for it to go on sale before buying.
