Honestly quite boring. Don't understand how this game gets so many good reviews. The document checking is immensely dumbed down compared to Papers, Please, it is no challenge at all to find contraband and in general it's very repetitive and the game mechanics, graphics and controls are as annoying to me as they are in Gas Station Simulator.

Awesome game! Like really really awesome and with potential to get even better. If you like political simulations, then this is THE game for you, no matter if you're American or not. Starting over again and again after the end of my careers and it just never gets boring because each playthrough is different. I would easily charge $25 for it, definitely worth it, even at this stage.

Very boring game, very boring gameplay. Follows the same simple mechanics like countless others just in a different setup. Very linear progression of opening productions, selling goods, opening more productions and selling more goods with a few artificial disruptions like police or opponents in an attempt to make the progression a little less linear. But instead of an actual challenge or variation, those are really just annoying. Reminded me a lot of Patrician 4 with fires and siege.

Awesome game, love it!

Awesome game! Very realistic and authentic political athmosphere and it doesn't feel like just another game that gives you the same results no matter what you click. Of course the main events and the endings are scripted but there are many ways the game can go and not like the same things happen no matter what decision you made before. And not only the countless decisions you are confronted with but also the nouances in between seem to matter in what direction the game develops. Very refreshing and innovative and a must for everyone with an interest in politics and/or history. The only thing that I found a little bothering is that you can't manually save and go back to any random point in time where you might wanna try a different approach without going through the entire story again from the very beginning, but at the same time this made every decision even more challenging because there is no going back - just like in real life. Please, Torpor Games, give us an extension to the game that allowes us to lead Sordland in a 2nd term after getting re-elected. I would pay the same price as for this version.

This game has huge performance issues and is massively unbalanced as of now. Place a handful of cities and industries on a large map and it already lags to an extend that makes it unplayable before even having one line in operation. My system is decent enough to play titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Cities Skylines with more than 5000 mods installed and similar games without any lagging so the problem cannot be on my end. I really hope there will be a patch to fix this, until then it's a big no no.

Great game! Everyone who liked playing games like Airport Tycoon will love this. Content is already extensive and there is still more to come especially for gameplay and performance. Already worth trying at this stage!
