Another amazing immersive sim game developed by Arkane Studios.
Like in Prey, everything can be done however you want, based on your playstile or unlocked skills.
I really love all the different magic attacks that you can use and how creative you can be in combat scenarios. This is why I will always prefer not realistic games over realistic one.
I also love how your gamestyle change difficulty in later levels and especially the ending.
There are some "side missions" here and there and I did not find them frustating or oppressing.
The lack of additional gamemodes in the base game is a shame though, apprently you need a DLC for that :(
Can't wait to get all the achievement and finish the game in various different ways and maybe I will even purchase the 2nd game.

It should have been in the base game.

In my opinion, The best AVP game currently available on Steam: I do not like AVP classic 2000 (because you spend 90% of the time understanding where to go) and AVP2 is not on steam unfortunately (which is a shame).
I highly recommend this game for the survival and online gamemode.

Marine campaign: Offers the best campaign and gameplay experience, featuring a selection of quality weapons and adrenaline-pumping action. All of this if you do not trivialize every alien encounter with the melee attack.
However, it feels like a missed opportunity not to encounter and fight a possible Alien Queen or Predalien later in the story (the "Alien Queen boss fight" is not a proper boss fight and is horrible).

Alien campaign: Unlike AVP2, players start immediately as an adult xenomorph, without experiencing the gameplay as a Facehugger, Chestbuster and Queen.
Gameplay heavily emphasizes stealth, particularly on higher difficulty levels.

Predator campaign: Similar to the Marine campaign, features a limited arsenal but offers cool gameplay mechanics. Players can adopt both stealthy and aggressive approaches.
You can also trivialize every Alien encounter with some weapons / tactics.

Survival mode: Personally, I love this gamemode and have even ranked in the top 50 worldwide on a map once. It evokes the tension and adrenaline of the "Aliens" movie. I highly recommend purchasing the DLC map though, as the base game only includes two maps, which feels not enough. It's disappointing that the sniper rifle is also unavailable in this gamemode.

Online: While I enjoy online matches, the presence of instakills carried over from the campaign modes can be frustrating. The game's balance issues among the different species can lead to both frustrating and enjoyable experiences.
Despite this, active servers can still be found, and with the right players, online matches can be a blast.

Extra info:
1) If you play campaign mode, Aliens attack you one per time while the others watch you from far away. This makes the game incredibily easy with some startegies / tactics.
However this issue is not present in survival mode. Every Alien attack you at the same time, making the game more enjoyable (from a challenge perspective) and lore accurate.
2) Using the same maps for all the characters / species in campaign mode is just lame and lazy.

I find that the current supporter edition falls in terms of the content it offers compared to its price.
It would be more satisfying if each character received at least one outfit exclusive to the supporter edition.
Additionally, while the inclusion of a flashlight is appreciated, the absence of a pet feels like a missed opportunity.

If you really want to support these developers, it may be better to either wait for a sale or for the addition of more content.

Latest Review:
Battle pass in a paid game.
Useless Tekken Shop.
Developers terminating content creators channels on youtube for using mods.
Latest Patch destroyed the game and it's still not fixed.
Instead of nerfing a character, they broke the entire systems.
Still no DC penality.

Original Review:
Good:
- The introduction of Reina and the final battle between Jin and Kazuya makes the main story amazing;
- Unlike Tekken 7, all characters have their own "episode" with their different endings;
- The heat mechanics makes the game fresh and open tons of mind games / mix-up opportunities for online fights;
- The option to customize the game's soundtrack with classic tracks adds a nostalgic touch;
- The customization itself is amazing: I managed to create character from Resident Evil, L4D2, Dragon Ball, Metal Slug and more.

My only complaint is the current system used to "fix" the ragequit issue.
I highly dislike the fact that people who ragequit do not lose their points and give them to the other player.
Banning people is too extreme in my opinion and I feel there's room for improvement in how this issue could be handled. (unless they aways do it like Lowtiergod, I highly enjoyed watching him complaint for his Ban xD).

Other than that we still don't know how the game is going to evolve, which character will be buffed or nerfed, which DLC characters will be included etc.
This Tekken is the best one since Tekken 5 DR and I do not want to regret my purchasing.

How to do a proper DLC / expansion for a game:

- New enemies;
- New weapons;
- New mechanics;
- New maps.

Definitive Edition My Ass! (Thankfully I got this game for free)

This game feels more like a 10 euro DLC for the original Dead Island rather than a standalone title, given the lack of substantial improvements. Despite introducing a new character, weapons, and mechanics, it fails to address the fundamental issues that its predecessor has.

The game suffers from numerous bugs and horrible optimization, particularly evident in the city map. It's bad to experience such poor performance, especially when compared to games like RE4 remake. I encountered frame rates as low as 12 fps in certain areas, which ultimately led to my decision to stop playing, despite my initial interested in getting all achievements.

Will I revisit this game? Absolutely not. Perhaps the original version might get my interest someday, but as it stands, I see no reason to subject myself to its shortcomings again.

Do I recommend it? Absolutely not. There's simply no justification for investing time in this crap experience when there are far superior zombie games available.

This is one of the best arcade games I've ever experienced. The gameplay is incredibly enjoyable and fun, whether you're playing solo, with a local friend (next to you) or through the "remote play together" feature on Steam, or engaging in online multiplayer (the fact that you can play like this is truly amazing).

Each character offers a distinct playstyle, with unique approaches that add depth to the gaming experience. The story mode provides a light experience, but for those seeking genuine fun and challenge, the arcade mode is a must-try.

A notable gamemode is the one that let you customize modifiers for an arcade match, introducing an extra layer of excitement and replay value. I appreciate how every enemy presents different challenges and can be conquered using diverse tactics.

For fans of Ninja Turtles and arcade games in general, this is unquestionably a must-play.
