For anyone who is having trouble with “updating executable.”

There is a problem with Steam DRM (anti-piracy utility), I can see it from steam logs: LaunchApp failed with UpdatingDRM with "16". I recovered the old executables from an “old installation” of mine. Here's a link to my drive with the working ones. Tested on multiple PCs they seem to work (I haven't tried with the Direct X versions). You can launch as always using steam. I do not recommend this game. It crashes on modern hardware, making impossible to continue. Nothing found on Internet helped fixing my issue (crashing on the elevator when playing as Marine)
