Fun with friends, but very slow development team and lots of bugs after being out for three years. Only recommend if you have a large group of friends who are interested, don't bother with the public lobbies.

This game is so good I made a guide on it, so you too can experience it to the best of your ability. If you have 1$ and 30 minutes, its not the worst things you could spend it on.

The soundtrack overstayed it's welcome about thirty minutes in. Gameplay is boring, repetive, and luck based. Animations are lazy and ugly. There are flash games that could do this better, and probably have. Do not waste money on this.

Early Access Review
Hoverfish are my life now. Honestly though, haven't enjoyed experiencing and playing a game this much in years. Enjoyment at this stage (early access March 2016) capped at 25 hours, but I will definately be playing it again for the final release and makor updates. An amazing game.

A thought provoking and orignal storyline told through deep and relatable characters couples with enjoyable gameplay to create a game that merits its 10/10 ratings.

This game has quite a number of issues. First there’s the lag. Because there are no dedicated servers, you can very easily manipulate your ping for in game advantage. I have a ping of 100 with only awesomenauts open, but when I open chrome and listen to music off YouTube, my ping jumps to around 300. Many players will manipulate their ping off and on throughout a match, changing it for when they need it. It doesn’t matter why the lag occurs, all that matters is that it destroys the gaming experience.

Second, the game has a broken late join and abandoning system. Leaving a match incurs a penalty in the games leader board system, and you don’t gain as much experience from the next match. This has never discouraged anyone from ragequitting. If a match is not full (3v3) the game will hot seat someone in wherever they are needed. While that seems great, it’s a completely ineffective system of preventing people from leaving and an unbalancing effect of late joins. Almost every match I have ever played in this game has had at least one disconnect. When a new player joins, they get the average amount of ingame money (solar) to buy upgrades, so even if you’re stomping the other team they will join in with as much as the winning team. When a new person joins in with as much solar as you, they get the chance to build their upgrades around your team, while you have already picked your general build. I have played a good number of games where the other team is losing badly so they all ragequit, only to be replaced by a full team of new players who all have as much solar as us, as well as the advantage of being able to build to counter our players, while we’re all set up for a different match entirely. Furthermore, if you’re the host of match, you can force everyone in match to quit by shutting off your internet. This happens almost every time the host is doing badly. And yes, you lose “league points” when the host forces you to disconnect. You may even join a game that a player has quit seconds before the base is destroyed and the game is over with a defeat for you (which you will lose ranking for).

The developers of this game are truly evil. You can purchase skins for the game, which are overpriced. Most games charge more than a dollar for skins, because they’re incredibly easy to design and they don’t change game play. Most of Ronimo’s skins are between 2.99 and 7.99. Two skins are as much as the game was originally. A pack of skins is 15 dollars, which is 5 dollars more then the game. That is simply not ok. They also came out with an expansion for the game almost two years ago, for around 7 dollars. It unlocked (at the time) one character. Now it provides more characters, and they’re by far the best characters in the game. However they sit behind a pay wall for almost the same price as the original game. This is disheartening to consumer, but forgivable if the game was balanced and had dedicated servers. But the final piece of the pie is that the expansion was crowd funded. They crowd funded an expansion, that when released only included one character. They said quote “We want to take Awesomenauts to the next level, with characters, features, a new map, and more! Join us to make this happen!” Many of these features are yet to arrive. 7,496 backers pledged $345,835 to help bring this project to life. That’s more money than many people make in 5 years of work. For an expansion. Of a game that already came out. The expansion added features that should have been free and come with updates.

I don’t recommend this game, and I loathe myself for giving it 400+ hours, and even writing review.

Buggier then a bug on a dune buggy, but it gets better towards the end (once you get past the stupid villains) Its easy to get lost in sidequests, but the combat is still great and it IS a good game, just not the best game it could have been.. With more work put into it, and more effort, could have been a award winning experience.

Very enjoyable game! Fits anyones playstyle (that is inside of an adventure simulation game) and is a good casual or hardcore gaming experience.
