This is a strange game which will be either an instant hit for you, or you'll hate its guts. Fortunately, the former is my case

It just drops you somewhere without any specific instructions -- except for the first 10 minutes -- and you can ignore the plot altogether. No one would be there to force the "entertainment" for you, you will have to do it yourself. No one will force you or push you to do anything specific. If you prefer for your games to constantly push you and provide you with new and more exciting experiences -- this is not a game for you.

However, if you like sandbox-like games, if you like exploration and hunting for resources (fuel, crafting materials, even the oxygen you're breathing with), if you like when the no one forces the pace on you -- you'll find yourself at home. I think that if you're familiar with Russian-made "Space Rangers", old X-Tension and X2 games, you'll enjoy your time here.

Visually, it's very consistent and I really like the style of the environments and seamless implementation of the launches and landings. Sound-wise, it could be better (especially the sound of the player ship's engine), but most of the sound effects are mostly passable.

Also, it tends to run quite okay under Proton, so Linux games should be able to enjoy it as well. AMD GPU users might experience some issues with stability, but for the most part, those can be mitigated -- refer to ProtonDB for more details.
