I have since last changed my view on the game, although I would still agree that the gameplay loop is not that diverse, I find myself having fun. I enjoy the phase of the game, games like Apex are too fast for my slow brain, this game is a better phase for me.

In regards to the progression I find the battlepass to be the best of its kind. However I do not want battlepass to be the main method of progression. That being said, the way Helldivers make use of the battlepass I find tasteful. The best version of the battlepass is included in the cheapest option. The premium is luckily is something one can ignore. And so if you have little issue with a tasteful battlepass go right ahead.

While the weapon variety is vast, and the "strategum" (which are powerups players can use for big explosions) are also numerous. I find myself doing the same thing. My reason for playing more is one the nice feel of the game, something I will slowly get more bored of. and the funny moments with friends. Other than that the new weapons are a fun new way to play, however I now am at the point where I find new weapons that match the later ones in the arsenal.

To conclude, I find my money worth in this game. To note the server issues have been ongoing. And currently the servers seem more stable. I would recommend this game if you have a need to protect Democracy and exterminate humanities foes!
