i really wish it were good, it has the shell of an amazing game, and had a lot of potential but it also has lots of bugs and no support. Its still kinda fun if you play as a monarchy or some stable nation but i after awhile most the numbers don't make sense, I had my interest rate at 20% and economy was still just chugging away lol.

This game has been out for over 2 years now and it has critical crashes just minutes into playing it on a system above recommend specs. Absolute garbage.

JWE is not a park simulation/manager.

Its some frankeinstein of story/mission based objectives (that frankly make no sense in most cases) but also like an advanced version of farmville with amazing graphics, where you intermmitently build and incubate things while you mostly point and click every x seconds.

If you like economic simulations this is a must have!

The Good
- The component/vehicle designer is very complex and yet simple at the same time, easy to pick up yet somewhat hard to master.

- Very addicting gameplay, especially the component designer in advanced mode. Time just escapes me when doing this, many hours just seem to fly by, and its fun trying to get that perfect chassis or perfect engine.

- Technology and production seem well balanced as well as the supply/demand and competition around various cities/regions.

- Lots of realistic options, from selling/buying stocks, to loans and credit lines, to RnD, Race teams, labor unions, liscensing, etc

- Made and marketed for adults, this is not an average "tycoon" game. Gameplay over graphics was the priority and it shows, the gameplay is deep and immersive.

- the gun in the safe to quit and delete the previous save is genious.

- government contracts are difficult to reach the threshold (at least early in the game), yet very rewarding

- can play with anywhere from 0 - 300 AI competitors

- AI is competitive and makes decent designs and is constantly updating

- Wide range of starting options (and full blown sandbox mode)

The Bad
- somewhat clunky and limited interface

- some tedium when making changes to sales/production/marketing or designing vehicles body designs

- limited graphical representations (of factories, dealerships, no zoomed map where you can see your cars driving around, very limited logo selection)

- newspaper and magazine could be more immersive (both in authentic look and in content)

Overall for an economic simulation, I would give it 8/10. Great gameplay, could have benefitted from more graphic development time. Still a little rough around the edges, but it is EA, hopefully some of that is addressed soon.

I consider this to be the sequal to roller coaster tycoon 3. It pretty much has everything you want. Graphics and sounds are amazing even on medium quality. Moving, rotating, and customizing objects feels just the way it should. I've seen several complaints on how easy it is with money. I would suggest challenge mode, unless there is some trick I haven't figured out yet, it seems challenging enough. You pretty much have to go in debt just to build 1 coaster, depending on difficulty level.

Amazing game, highly recommended.

Only downside is you might have to buy a new pc (as I did) to play on a big park or with high graphics.

Very good tycoon game, right up there with the best of them.

If you enjoy tycoon games, you won't regret it.

This is the most polished early access game I have ever played. I haven't had any issues other than occasionally save games are incompatible after a large update, which is to be expected.

One of the best strategy games ever made.

The style and quality of the art and music are still unmatched 5 years later.

Arguably the most difficult game in the TW series with the Realm Divide which sets it apart as well.

Even after winning many campaigns at the highest level it keeps me coming back. The real time battles are epic, no other game provides such an enriched experience.

Bad. Once again the only thing that matters is player personalities and morale (a common theme since 2014).

I just watched in horror as my sweeper keeper stands on his line and refuses to sweep up through balls. My back 4 which is instructed to lay off tackles and never close down chase guys up past the halfway line. My BWM which are instructed to close down and tackle hard all over the pitch, stand around and watch.

Furthermore they really clunked up the interface, it was fine from previous versions, now it is just more difficult to find everything, and less effiecient. I have to click on 3 buttons just to see player form or see a player report. Also in match the fonts are way to big and I cannot get all the information on the screen as I used to in previous versions. Its just clunky as all get out.

Just a terrible iteration of a formerly very good franchise.

Its one of the games that I wish I could love, I really tried. It is just rife with bugs though, not the typical alpha build, minor annoyance type of bugs either. Game breaking bugs. Workers not working, buildings glitching out, soldiers doing stupid attacks to their death. I cannot think of one feature in this game that actually works properly.

The latest update did not address bugs in the slightest. Instead it added more content, which added even more bugs.
